I need to remove my delta ring so I can put my G&P delta ring on. This may be a stupid question but I'm a newb when it comes to M4's. I don't quite understand how I am supposed to get it off.

You should get an AR 15 armorers wrench. That is what is needed to get it off.

I have the wrench to unscrew it from the body. What I need to do is take it off of the outer barrel completely.
I'll post pics to help describe what I need done.

I'm pretty sure you have to take off your front sight to take the whole thing off.

You have to pound out the two pins on the bottom of the front sight post. Once you have it off, just slip it back on and drive the pins back in.

There also may be a set screw underneath the front sight by the sling swivel.

Find a screwdriver or allen wrench that fits in the hole and use that

Ok, I'm beginning to think that it would just be a hell of a lot easier getting a new outer barrel because the flash hider has yet to even budge. After all my attempts it wont move.

Just get a mepp-gas torch and melt the glue on it. It should come right off
Then get some pliers and wrench it off.

Ok, Ely and I got it, but my King Arms CASV still does not go on all the way. So I'm wondering if it is just not compatible with a G&P body or if the delta ring is not screwed on all the way. But when I try screwing it, it doesnt want to turn anymore. Any thoughts?

The barrel may not work as G&P bodies have a different size housing for the barrel.

Disregard what I just said. Does the barrel fit in the body, or is it the delta ring that does not work?
