I found a scope for 30$ at airsplat that I want. But I can't figure out what a green red dot scope is. Is the scope green? Is there a red dot in it or cross hairs (preferred). Here is the address www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-SCP-RD40RGW.htmPlease help me out on this

Red dot can be used as a term of style of it. Its almost/is the same as a reaction sight or heads-up sight.
Just a optic that increases optical zoom by x1-x2 with a dot in the middle as a crosshair. Im pretty sure the dot is GREEN and not RED in this unit.

Well in the picture it is shown as black. I would be really upset if i get it and the scope itself is green. Then My all black gun would look retarded with a green scope on top. If this isn't the case why is green used in the product's name? Does anyone think it is green?

The scope itself is black. You can change the dot between red and green, not the scope color. Red is most commonly used in the day in woodland settings, and green is more common in CQB or at night.

Wow that sounds sweet, thanks for reassuring me on this scope. Now I'm definitely getting this scope.
Oh and obvioulsy the scope itself dosent change color, I was just worried it wouldn't be black.
