Personally, I think its a tad on the small side, depending what your putting it on. Its something I would think to see on a paintball gun, or on a competitive shooters pistol. It may be hard to view through from a shooting stance.

Actually I've held one mounted on a M4 CQB and it was, in my opinion, the best tiny optics package I've seen.
P.S. On the weak side though, the glass collects dust like a black iPod collects finger prints.

I'd be putting it on a full sized M4 (and maybe sometime a MP5).

Does this thing avoid parallx ghast? If I fully understood parallax, I'd be able to answer that, but for the sake of argument, I don't think so. It just looked neat and was very small.

I see, ya, I would hate to get one of those, since I would have to line it up with my front iron sight, if it does not avoid parallax.

You're not going to get a sight with good parallax-correcting optics for $13.

However, you don't have to co-witness the dot with your iron sights to avoid parallax. You need to look through the lense at the same angle every time. It's easier to do that if you have a front sight post to line the dot up with. But if you practice your cheek weld, you should be able to get it close enough for airsoft ranges.

Totally agree with this, and it's an excellent point. Once you use a weapon for long enough, you're stance and check weld will be so similar you start to use the red dot as you would an iron sight or a regular zoomed scope. It just becomes second nature. Just hold the weapon like you would normally when you're sighting it in and all is well.
