Got some interest in the Michigan Airsoft Corps, but we'd like to know a little more.
I really hate to ask this, but since I'm not familiar with the host- who's land is it and what type of permission do you have to use the land? We traveled a distance to a game one time only to find out it was being held on public land without permission of any sort. The police showed up by the end of the game, just as we were leaving. Luckily there didn't end up being an issue, but we honestly should have left as soon as we saw what the arrangements were. Lesson learned. So, a little more info would set my mind to ease, assuming everything is squared away.
How big is the field?
What method do you plan to use to tell who's on what team? Uniform restrictions?

So everyone knows, this is Guardians Friend SKI, The event... "Operation Spartan" is still a GO. The Sheriff's Department of St. Clair County has been contacted, and they gave full authorization to play airsoft on the set date in the set area. we ask that Bio-bbs be used for this event, but if you are not able to get any in time, we understand. to my knowledge the event has about 30 people confirmed that are coming to play with more signing up. the event is still going to be a camp out, with several night games.
The field is large, with trails, woods, ponds and a river. if i were to guess i would say the field is about 2 1/2 square miles, maybe more.
Uniform restrictions are going to be the following: the US Special Ops/USMC they are to have woodland BDU's / their gear can be any type of color pattern they want. The checkastain army They can have any BDU pattern except Woodland/ their gear can be any type of color pattern.
there are no limits on mags or on BBs
And So everyone also knows, I work for a Police Department in St.Clair County, I myself would not be going to play if we had not recived full authorization to play. I understand the risk involved when it comes to airsoft and law enforcement, yes it did take some time to get everything all said and done, But I assure that everything is all set to play on the date. I hope to see all of you out there as I will be there to play.
P.S. I hope all of the questions have been answered.

I'd expect between 4-7 members from F.A.S.T to be there, but I can't get you an exact number yet.

SKI When i spoke to guardian he told me there was going to be no specific camo for each team. Glad to see you guys changed that. But since the US is only woodland bdu's were going to need to be switched to CHECKASTAIN ARMY.

OK, I don't want people to have to switch teams so, unless people don't mind I have a method that will be employed so uniforms wont really matter.
If this event goes well we have more planned when uniform regulations will be used.
Since this is our first event we are looking for feed back. Our goal is to provide fun free airsoft games, so we will see how it goes.
Cheers,
Geoff

An event that's free and fairly close to where I live? Count me in!
I'll see about getting a friend or two to come along.

There are no requirement for a medic. You just go, and when they ask for volunteers, step forward. They'll give you some medic tags, and tell you exactly what you can and can't do.
Oh, next time, just edit your post instead of double posting. Since your obviously EXTREMELY new, I'm sure everyone will let it slide.
