Glad to hear everyone had a good time, believe it or not, we/I actually enjoy hosting the games and keeping things moving. I think I played only 3 or 4 of the dozen or so games, and I know that clayton never even uncased his gun, but it was still a blast just listening on the radios hearing calls for "back up" and "reinforce the left flank!", all the while you hear AEG full auto in the background on the radio (reminded me of "We were soldiers") Here is one of my favorite pix of the day..... www.wolverinetactical.com/New Folder (3)/andy.jpg[/img] I will put the rest of the pics on a webpage to save load times here. www.wolverinetactical.com/angelpix.htm

nice pics mike, i really liked those. for anyone that wasnt there, THE PICTURES DONT EVEN SHOW HOW INSANE it was playing with that number of people. And I am going to buy a digital camera VERY SOON and we will probably have a camera man for the next one. I talked to my dad and he said if we RENT the field for the HUGE skirmishes from my uncle, he would be cool with that. So I guess we are still going to have a players fee, and that will mainly end up going to wolverine and my a-hole uncle JIM. BUT IF THATS WHAT IT TAKES then i am more than happy to abide yb his rules. I am going to be out at the field now for a few days here building more bunkers{possibly underground and hard to bust} and unloading on the sandbags so that it will be even more emensly built up. I am also going to try and maybe build some sort of Main Compund in the middle or something like that. IF YOU have any ideas/ suggestions for scenarios or field upgrades, post them or give me an email and i will to my best to see if they cant be done by the next skirmish, {which hopefully will be about a mont or maybe two away} well im gonna start looking up some pics and get some ideas . Later everyone thanks for everyones cooperation and support! that was my favorite time ever playing airsoft. p.s. Sorry to Don?{249} for shooting him full auto in the thumb with my classic army mp5 from AT MOST 3 feet away!! later derick Muskegon Airsoft Network

OMFG, I am very gals everyone gt to play and see the field that over time we have tried to develop to intensify the gameplay. BUT I am asd to report that the field is NO MORE!!!!!!!!!! MY F******G ASSHOLE NIEGHBOR/UNCLE JIM HAS DECIDED WE CANT PLAY THERE ANYMORE!!!!!! I just recieved the notice about 3 minutes ago. I am so unbelievably pissed off! I am not taking this very well at all. NO MATTER WHAT there wil be NO AIRSOFT there anymore. Buuut you know what? Where there is one place to play there is another, right? WE WILL FIND A NEW HOME AND WE WILL OVERCOME!!!!!! AS soon as I find a place, I will stay out there day and night to make it as good, wait, BETTER than the old field, ALL I ASK FROM YOU FELLOW PLAYERS IS TIME! I DONT CARE IF NO ONE HELPS ME BUT I WILL MAKE A NEW FIELD!!!
THE REASON: Jim- "I was informed that you guys would be playing and that it would only be about 15 people." TRUTH - NEVER ONCE DID I TELL HIM THIS> I TOLD HIM THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY OF 50 PEOPLE!!!AND HE AGREED
Derick -"why cant we ever play again.....what if we limit the amount of people?" Jim - "No i dont want you there anymore, you never once asked me if you could use it and never once did you say thanks" TRUTH - I DID!!! ask him several times and i iinformed to him that there would be a lot of people there. After every skirmish I have told him thank yuo for letting us play here and how much I/we appreciate it
Derick - "What if we 'rent' it from you during the skirmish? We are willing to pay you and we will take care of the parking and assure everyone can get through" Jim - "NO this is my property now and I could care less if i ruined 'your' field or not! I dont think you guys are either considerate or responsible enough to even run a commercial event. I wont accept money from you cause im not even sure f it will come through. Personally, i think this game is too dangerous and violent" Truth - He watches footbal and Hockey, he only sounded interested when i offerd to pay, and we did hold a commercial event and it went VERY smooth! WEll i will get ack on this one later, just let me cool down a bit
sincerely, derick

That suxs but he can your neighbor can do whatever he wants. If you did the pay method I would suggest getting the money beforehand if his concern is about it not comming through have everyone pay through paypal or drop it off then just give him cash he doesn't have to wait for that to clear. Anyway hope everything works out I had a similar problem with my parents and i still do but after Immediate Response I have no grounds to argue my case.

Guys, (derick) Its not the end of the world. What made yesterday such an awesome day wasn't the field or the setup, or even the smoothly run games(*shameless personal plug*); It is the guys and gals who came out and played together that made it what it was! Besides, I can do one better, I have a 40 acre parcel available that is set up for paintball, and I can rent the whole thing for about $5 per head, if we get 40 people So I will work with derick and his uncle on reopening negotiations, etc....., but until then, Be glad you got to be a part of one of the largest events in Michigan airsoft history.....at least for the time being ;D (SPRING 2003 hint, hint )

Hey derick,
(This is Lance) I just thought i would let you know that my field will be completed around mid october by latest. I can only hold up to 20 people or else it gets to confusing and not enough room, But it does have several advantages. My parents really dont care as long as nobody gets hurt and we dont destroy anything, I am the only one on my street so parking is no big deal. I have basically one big 3 story barn, a block building with 3 rooms, and a corn crib. Plan on building outside bunkers around to. Anybody that "donates there car to the field" we park them around and make it a little more urban. I can hold a op at my place but Once again it would only be around 20 people but would be intense. Well its intesnte with 5 people. My property is 5 acres but we really just play around the barns and the games usually end in about 2-30 minutes. CQB/URban enviroment. SO M.A.N. needs to come on out here and play SOCOM in a skirimsh.

Well one quick thing while this forum is still being looked at, That was a awsome game and all my team mates are mad now that they didnt go, they were expecting it to be like last time, ( 85 degrees, Jay whinning that he has to get to work, and only like 12 people) But when i told them that there was 43 there they couldnt believe it. Anyway They all now want to play with you guys since you get such great turnouts (hopefully will contiue, even though the field. If it would help we can host in our many fields, 3 woods, 1 state land that we can, (reserved for paintball), about 200 acres in paw paw, And a couple of urban things. ARe you guys sure that October 13, 2002 you guys will be holding a game in sagutack. Just asking before all my friends take that day off. They would kill me if they took off work and it wasnt. They love their jobs, or at least the money

Hey guys no sweat on the field. Talked to my parents on their property that is a good chance we can play there. I hope 30 acres is big enough Only thing is with deer season getting started. I also bowhunt it dont want to screw that up But anyway they didnt seem to mind. I take my nephew out their and we shoot a lot and have fun. I would like to get some bunkers made up and base camps though. Its a field I think all would like. Need too get in touch with Mike and Clayton and walk the woods see what they think. Maybe buy some sand bags to build the bunkers. Getting sand is not a problem either I work at Nugent Sands Co. Field is located out in N. Muskegon so give me alille time and we'll see what happens Any way great skirmish the other day. I'll keep you all informed.
