NO indoors, motly trences and barracades, army style, not swat, sorry (hehehe) Um, as far as the field size, the pics mike has for the skirmish are actually of the field, just not hat close up. It mostly has atural cover, some man made, and a lot of rom to run. any more? derick musk.air.net

hey wazi, this is derick, one of the leaders of musk.air.net. We mostly use "seal/ranger" tactics in our field, cqb, or (close quarters battle) isnt going to be seen in this skirm. The closest you will get to cqb s busting a barracade or bunker.(very fun/painful) We actually have some players on our tea with p90s and they are practicaly the same as MOST of our other rifles. We try to stick together as a team and it usually works out good. We also use 2 way radios a lot on our team, especially with an ear piece. (comes in handy) Any other questions ? later derick musk.air.net.

Thnx derick - I'll see what I can scrounge up by saturday. I'm only going to be there till 4, though (gotta work at 5 ). Also, I'll let you know if I have some renters that will be tagging along, Mike. What kind of rentals are they and what are they going to run, btw? And as long as I'm asking, what sort of gear do you have in stock at WTS I could pick up this thurs? (keeping in mind I have just the stock P90, low mah battery, and two standard clips. (shall I get some high caps or are there any tools that I could use to reload my clips easier than the long ramrod-style loader that game with it?) Right, my posts are turning into essays...

RENTALS: ICS MP5SD5 w/high cap ICS MP5A4 w/high cap $15 day provide your own excel or TM bb's (rental comes with one full mag 200 bb's)
1 P90 aeg in stock, several gas guns, "some" bb's (short supply with the customs stuff) some mp5 delta chest mag pouches some mil issue LBE vests lemme know if you are looking for something specific.....
as far as tools, the best "slickest" thing for loading mags is the auto loader, just invert your mag, push it onto the feeder and voila! the mag is loaded in about 6 - 10 seconds. runs on AA batteries.

Mike,
just wondering, how many players are you expected to show up?
and this might be an insignificant question, but you mean EVERYBODY including people over 18 needs to sign a waiver and hand it to you at the game, correct?
and also, do we need to sign up somewhere before we go? or do we just show up and pay at that day?
and where exactly can i find the driving directions to the site?
thank you very much for your time...
Dex

Well I just got back from the field doing some prelims, and surveying the best site for infil, etc... The field is awesome, rectangular, various vegetaion density, dry creekbed/ravine, bunkers, & open areas. The property is at the end of a "NO OUTLET " road, and the western boundary is a dirt driveway which has 3 houses on it, all of which are in the family (uncle, dad, grandma) so it is very skirmish friendly. the northern most boundary is slightly open but will be marked by orange surveyor tape, as well as the eastern boundary. basically there is only a few areas we have to stay out of. Parking IS going to be an issue as the dirt drive is narrow, so we can only park in a few places along it, we are working on some options, but please carpool the best ya can. Smoke will have to be burned in metal containers (coffee cans) or other approved containers (determined by hosts) radios will be usefull as the field is expansive (big) also a compass may be useful to maintain North south bearing (walking around out there tonight I got my north turned by about 45 degrees..... We will have water available from a large container with cups, as well as hot dogs ($1 ea) and gatorade (whatever we end up paying for them) there will be a "full camo" dinner following at around 7:30 for those that want to Infil the local McD's I will add directions to the skirmish website in a few hours.

I wont play if its snowing, but if its raining, rally hard, we can wait it out. I am going to be there NO MATTER WHAT!! when it rains there, you really cant feel it once youre in the woods. We also like it after it rains because then you can move more quietly. But if its raining we can either sit and wait it out, or you are free to leave. Your choice. The mus.air.net will be there all day rain or shine though. later derick
