Ok, #1, remember I said my friend is in love with her, not me. #2, I have yet to see "Heat" or "Leon: The Pro" and have never heard of them. Clue me in, and I hope they're not rated R or my parents won't let me see them (poor, poor Newman). The best movies ever made (that I've seen, take note) are the Tom Clancy movies "Clear and Present Danger", "The Hunt For Red October", and "Patriot Games", and of course, "The Matrix", oh, just remembered, the Die Hard series. They are just cool, simply put. 8)
To anyone who read that and thought I couldn't see any R rated movies, I mean that most R rated movies I can't watch, not all of them. I couldn't count the number of R rated movies I've seen, but in general I'm not supposed to see them. I attribute this to my parental rules and religious things (being Christian and all).

The professional is a great movie, but features a little to much Beretta hardware for my tastes...however there is a bunch of H&K hardware carried by the SWAT team so i guess that makes up for it...

The professional is good but its not really top 10 overall quality. I havent seen it in a while either though. What were the guns Leon had? They looked custom, i remember not being able to recognize them when I saw it.

Hey Un-Named,
Sorry for not replying, we had a big practice this eve at the hobby shop and I am just getting in. Had a bad practice this eve, I shot at Brass, and the hit nailed him in the tooth, Breaking the damn tooth right off,
Then... Ghost tried to rush mine and Brass's position (mistake) and shot at me with her P226, and I shot at her at 4 feet hitting her in the septum, needless to say she was not a happy camper. So two walking wounded in one day..
I got hit also on the bridge of the nose at 350 fps, OUCH !! but we all love the game and the pain was well worth the fun, Brass being the hard charger he is, mereley said, its all in the game and after 2 Vicoden, and a cup of Mountain Dew, continued to play.
As far as where are we in relation to Chicago, I beleive we are 3 hours from you, Calhoun County is in the mid part of SW Michigan, we are in Battle Creek, aprox 2 to 2-1/2 hours from Michigan City. And to everyone, there is a standing invitation to all to come and play with us, or we do have cars, and we all drive so hey maybe we can set something up.
And JANUS will probually kill me for saying this, but this eve, he got chowdered by 3 of us, he was playing lone terrorist, and we had to go get him, well Mike determined that he wanted to play no limit on hits, he he he his mistake, well we got him cornered in the main room, and every single time he stuck his noggin out, one of us four ( me, Ghost, Brass, Demon ) just plastered him. By the way all I have to give props where props are due, JANUS is an awesome player and an awesome sport, not once did he whine, he took the hits with an evil smile.
But enough of the eves highlights, he he we will be having our big once a week indoor wham fest tomorrow at the hobby shop, so I will keep all posted, we will be there from 7- midnight so I will be posting back after then.

Sounds like mucho fun goblin! You gotta get some pics up for us, I'd like to see where you guys play and whatnot. I should come join you guys sometime, I'm way over in Adrian in pretty much the extreme SE corner of the state, but hey, we all have to give a little for airsoft now and again ;D (not that I'm offering up any of my teeth to be shot out!)

Minky.. man Adrian is close come on down sometime, we at 7.62 would be glad to show ya around, maybe do some airsoft and then do some D&D... he he Airsoft and Dungeons and Dragons... what a combo.......
A little info on our indoor area, we have the luck to have a area that a hobby shop owner lets us use. it is narrow but long and is made up of 2 central rooms. We use tables, and booths and such as cover and then play. Awesome fun indeed, so jst let us know a good time and we can set something up with no problem.

I think both the Pro and Heat have not only cool shooting scenes, but they also have interesting plots. Both movies are dramas and have a lot of character development and are very interesting to watch.
And YES newman, these movies are rated R.

Lone_wolf, I'm in the Ann Arbor area, don't really have a place to play. If you do, that'd be sweet. Goblin-once Janus gets his field up & running, my parents say I could go there a couple times, and since you're in that vicinity, could play at your field. The only problem being that it's 1 hour 40 minutes away. I hope I get to play with 7.62 someday...Team 7.62, did you know there's a brand of clothing called 7.62 Designs? They make sweet shirts, www.uscav.com/shop/uscsearchresultsr.asp?search=ctgy&subcatname=Shirts&catname=Clothing

I just checked Mapquest and it says it'll take 48 minutes to get to Adrian, that's not bad. Howell was about that, and to get to Viking's house is 10 minutes or so more. Dude, we should get a mini skirmish together for the guys in the lower SE Michigan (Ed, you, me, Ed's friend). That'd be cool.
I'm not in a very good mood, I feel like I'm on some drug...who the fuck put something in my drink...I have a headache...wtf....

Thats not the first ive heard about people chipping teeth in airsoft. Is it enough of a risk to warrant some sort of mouth protection?

Unnamed, I have to admit that I agree with you regarding the mouth protection, however most people would shun that. I personally feel it's an individuals call.
Brass got his tooth knocked, he knew the risks and accepted it when he got hurt, that shows you the level of sportsmanship and overall type of guy he is. If someone wants to play with mouth protection then I applaud them, but I dont think it will become very popular.
Had another good game this eve, no one got hurt, and we had 15 players, uncluding 2 new players that indicated that they were going to start coming on a regular basis, we are playing tomorow night again, so hopefully as we get more members, we will se the sport grow in the Battle Creek area.
