Seeing as how I'm swabbing mine out this eve, I was kind of curious and thought I'd ask a relevant airsoft question.......
How often do you clean out your barrels? I know what the manuals say, but how often do you really?
Never - Self-explanatory Seldom - Number of rds. in btwn? Regularly - Number of rds. in btwn? Often - Number of rds. in btwn? Every Time I Use Gun - Self Explanantory (sort of)
I myself am more of the Regular to Often, usually cleaning the barrels after about a 1,000 rounds (+/- 250 depending on my schedule). Also depends on the gun and the use (I tend to clean AEG's often compared to those guns with lower ROF, hence lower rounds thru the barrel).
Back to swabbing barrels......l8r................

well, i've been swabbing mine before every skirmish....but seeing as how detrimental it was for me at the last skirmish... (my BBs were hugging the walls of the barrel and dropping like rocks for the first 100-200 rounds ) i think i'll be doing it afterwards...and then putting about 100 rounds through it.

I'd have to say Regularly perhaps after about 1000-1500 rounds. Guess it all depends on the mood though, sometimes I go nutty and clean all my guns reguardless of how many rounds I've put through them since the last cleaning.
Reading all this has put me in the cleaning mood once again, so...I'm off to do some swabbing of my own. Then, it's time to kick some Ballisata booty with a 1-on-1 battle royal! ;D
