Aah, the airsoft gods have smiled upon me afterall. Early this morning my tired sleepy eyes were greeted by a VERY impressive looking AND feeling KSC Beretta Elite Force. VERY surprised I was as I wasn't expecting such a gift at all. My god, this thing is amazing. You all know I loved Vikings Tactical Master, but this thing...oooh. Much more to my liking. Not only is it a much heavier weapon, but it also has a working dec0cking (bah@word filter) function. It was the silver barrel that had won me over ages ago when I first saw the gun and now finally having it in my hands just makes it feel so...right! hehe Workmanship is also stunning, no visible seam lines at all from what I've seen, and the overall finish of the item is also top notch. So once again KSC has totally exceeded my expectations and delivered yet another fine firearm. Tis late now so you'll have to wait till tomorrow for pics. rooaw! And now on to other non airsoft presents: - Metal Gear Solid 2: Solid Snake action figure
- Metal Gear Solid 2 for PS2
- Tribes 2 (PC)
- Need 4 Speed: Porsche Unleashed (PC)
- Blackhawk MP5mag/pistol mag thigh holster
- Nomex Flight gloves
- Funky pj bottoms
- camo sweatery shirt thingie
- Flip pencils! (flip is my all time favorite skateboard company-has best riders of course
- Flip techdeck fingerboard
- Logitech Force Feedback steering wheel (PC)
- gift certificates
- Pistol case
eegads, that's tons. I'm so not used to getting so many things. Ever since I moved over here to be with my wife the christmas presents have sure been plentiful. Back home all I got was underwear. hehe Anyone else get any airsoft goodness? *me waits for Ballista to start bragging*

WOW! Nice stuff you scored there Hado, makes me jealous I still haven't got my M3 yet, but it should arrive this week... I can't wait to see the Beretta, sounds very nice. You should get on ICQ to tell me all about it, hehe. I bet Ballista made out like a bandit with airsoft stuff eh? I bought myself another Micro Uzi for xmas, I have nothing else to say. And I also got 5 bags of .25 BBs from ebay. Yay for self given xmas gifts!

ANOTHER micro-uzi?? EEk! One was bad enough, the rate of fire on that thing sure would keep me FAR FAR away from it. Now with two of them you'll be going John Woo on our poor asses. *me runs away screaming*

Behold: I almost didn't want to post, 'cause these pictures don't do the P90 justice at all nor the M11A1 suppressor. The pictures I took of the '90 make it look so flimsy and plasticy. Believe me - the thing is solid as a rock, heavy, and it looks real. With the addition of the suppressor, my M11 feels totally real (it was realistic to begin with), enough to scare the crap out of an ATF agent. ;D I'll stop bragging now 8)

Ok, I managed to take a couple pics of my new KSC Elite, but the digital camera is being a total spaz. Everything comes out SUPER Blurry so I apologize about the quality of these 2 images. I'll retake some more tomorrow and add them to the gallery. Now about Ballista's P90, that thing is amazing. We got to shoot it a little outside today and the sound it emits is just music to my ears. A nice loud heavy THUD! Very scary. When shooting it though you hear the internals a lot more than any other weapon I've tried, but that's only because of its placement within the gun making it much more closer to the ear. Need to shoot it some more tomorrow!

Minky: It's so weird how you get every single gun I would like to own, and well...very unfair too. hehe. That Super 90 of yours looks great, can't wait to try that thing out. You need to give me some more details though. How easy is it to rack that thing? And what do you think about its overall feel and performanc?
sheesh, you even shoot AOL cds like me and have a beard and and and know the Mendeleev Periodic table off by heart too!
CLONEEEEEEE!

It's not hard to rack at all, but I can see how it would get tiring fast. When I'm shooting at stuff inside I take more notice of the effort needed to use the gun, but once I go outside and start running around I don't even pay attention to it. The gun feels great and is easy to handle, although I see why some people go for the Shorty. You can see in that one pic with the AUG that the M3 is quite long, so there is the chance of the length becoming a slight obstacle. I can always cut the barrel down I suppose, but I think it looks better with the full length. The gun shoots as good as it looks, which is to say it's great! I haven't really done any comparitive distance shooting with it against my AUG yet, but I would guess that the M3 has similar if not better range. The hop-up is fixed, and TM says to use .20, but with that weight all 3 BBs were heading for space after about 40 feet. It works much better with .25, and the spread is actually wider than I was anticipating. I've read some reports that people only get a few inches spread at maximum range, but I've observed mine to be closer to a foot. Still not very shotgun-like, but enough to get a greater chance of a hit.
I actually did a little comparison test with different weights of BBs today at a range of 30 feet inside. I'll try to get some pictures up of the targets tonight.
And Hado, I already told you before that I'm your evil twin ;D

"Pistol grip pump on my lap at all times......" - RATM/Renegades
Every time I pick up my Shorty that lyric runs thru my head! Minky, sounds like you're having as much fun as I am with the Benelli (sorry Hado ;D). .20's seem to go pretty straight from mine, but then w/ fixed hop every gun can be different. You're right, racking the M3 is pretty easy if you use some "a-thori-tay". One thing I was having a blast (hehe, 'scuse the pun) with was bringing it off my back (did a quick, dirty rig with some belts) and shooting it like a really big, long pistol. I believe my oldest son's exclamation was "Holy Crap!" when he saw me whip it out.
I can see where these would be a fun primary weapon, esp. in CQB, but feeding it shells could get annoying after a bit. Oh well, trade-offs to everything.

JackStraw, I wish you were my dad! The only thing my dad would pull off from his back would be either- A: Hair ;D -or- B: Laptop -or- C: Briefcase containing the opacity of certain polymers and other materials ;D I'd laugh non-stop for five minutes if my dad pulled a Benelli out. ;D

I have the hair and laptop, traded in my briefcase for a backpack, and these days if you enter my office and interrupt an important call you're liable to get a blast from my Surefire M3! I prefer to act, and thus stay, as young as I can for as long as I can, and yes, my kids get a chuckle out of it from time to time. Age is all in the mind, although lyrics from a Little Feat tune ring in my ears from time to time... "when your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill". I still hurt after snowboarding this wknd, but the powder was soooooo good!!
It was quite a compliment and a pleasure during this New Year's Eve's marathon Xbox session when one of my son's buddies stated "I want your Dad on my team!" I hung in there til 3am.....then I could no longer focus and the reflexes were gone. I have a firm belief that I get involved in what my kids do and do it with them (I even ride a longboard when the weather is nice), rather than watch. It's all about the memories and the lessons learned.
By the way, I'm being hailed from the living room for some Halo and a bit of Blood Wake. Those little turds are gonna' regret handin' me a controller!!
