yeah he makes more money taking apart guns and selling them in pieces which we all know there is no gain on just selling guns not much of a markup due to internet.

I didn't even think of that! I thought he just had a source of OEM parts. Very, very smart when you think about it. Especially with AR series, every single piece of those is marketable.

I ordered some stuff from " John Warther " before. I recommend asking him if he actually has the stuff in his possession first. I waited nearly 4 months and never received anything.. After about 15-20 emails with NO response, I had to elevate it to a Paypal claim, he FINALLY responded.. It took about 5 more days to get the refund.. So, shop at your own risk. Oh, and he had 2 different Ebay accounts as well, check them both for his true feedback.. The new one he runs with is much better than the previous. Just my 2 cents. Edit: He now has 3 old accounts.. It's been awhile since I made my order.. I have nothing else to say. contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ReturnUserIdHistory&requested=warthers_originals_online&ReturnUserIdHistory

Hmmmmmmmm thanks for the heads up man. I hate ebay, I try to avoid it at all costs. But this is one of those times he has something that I need....

You can get some decent deals on Ebay, though.. Just thought I'd share my experience with him. He does have a couple things that I want too. I've been debating another order attempt for a few months...
If you have a good experience, let me know, I may give him another chance.

I just got an update on Warthers. He also has a website set up for airsoft related stuff. For you guys sporting the TM M4's or other plastic bodied guns and have broken tabs, he has a metal tab fix called " retabs " for 10 bucks. www.warthersoriginalsonline.com/gear.htm

I hate leaving replies to stuff like this, I never want to seem like one dealer trying to discredit another but I guess this guys a bit different so um I guess I can post my experiances. I've done business with the man. Got one of those re-tab kits for a TM M4-A1. Shipping took about 2 and a half weeks. All in all, I wasn't unhappy or anything. Shipping could have been a tad quicker though. I recommended him to a good local customer of ours who ordered one of the re-tab kits a while back and was told it was back ordered. He waited several weeks for word and then finally emailed about the re-tab kit and never got a reply. After a dozen or so emails asking for a tracking number or a refund, he did a charge back via his credit card and left negative feedback on eBay. His prices seem far. Actually, he seems to be under cutting himself on some of the items. Some of them items cost more from CA at wholesale, 2 and 3x more then he is selling them for. I actually had another customer I sent to him for an outer barrel because the price was like 1/3rd of what I would have charged at the time. *Post Update* Yeah I just looked at his site. I'll use a couple CA items for example. The hopup, $18 dollars buy now, $5 shipped. Thats less them my wholesale cost. Then his complete front ends for the M15's, like the RIS and seal for example, the RAIL systems retail for what he is selling the WHOLE front end for. Decent deals for sure. I'll have to send a couple of Yong's asian enforcers to break his knee caps

Yeah I'm still waiting on my barrel assembly, it's been a few weeks now with no word.
He really is smart for what he is doing, I imagine he can push out every single part from an AEG and get a total of 400-500 bucks total, maybe more.

Well, my guess is he buys his CA guns from one of the 2 importers. Both of whom are out of most of the M15's right now due to the holidays.
They are just now starting to get them back in stock from Classic Army.

I found this guy on ebay and have made a couple of purchases from him. I must say that you should definitely talk to him about what you want to buy before you place your bid. It really makes things so much easier if you build up a bit of re pour. If your buying more than one item make sure you ask for consolidated shipping, because he did do that for me when I asked. He also has a new ebay account, its classic_army_retailer this is the address myworld.ebay.com/classic_army_retailerI talked to him after I bought a MP5 front end, but before he shipped it. I told him I wanted something from his classic_army_retailer shop and if he would be willing to consolidate the shipping if he mailed all the items together. He did this without hesitation. Since I had already paid for the first part of the order he sold me the second part for less than the price he listed it. It was an all metal hop-up listed for $20 plus $5 shipping. He gave it to me for $15 shipped. All in all this guy seems to know what hes doing, and I'll definitely check back with him the next time I need a specific part.
