My friend is getting a spring rifle,MP5SD3 but found a gun he liks better, its like the SR-16 from USA Shorty, anyways he was wondering if you can fit acc. on the rifle like it was a AEG M4, SR-16, M16, ect. Like a RIS grip or Lasers, flash lights, ect. Can he?

Bigmack, we all have to realize that there *are* some people not as well off/have been so lucky to get AEGs, and are really happy to get by with a springer. Some of my friends are just like that.
With a cheap gun, they can take apart everything and mod the guns to their liking with no fear of losing a $500 piece of equipment, only like $50 could be possibly lost.
I'm glad to play with guys who own springers, just because they enjoy a hobby like me. Besides, they might just be the people down the road who will buy AEGs some day and own everyone because they played so much (less money to play=more playing for most people). Good luck Andy, and...
Where is this SR-16 from USA Shorty? I don't see it, it's not under springers, AEGs, gas, Air guns, minis, etc. Are you saying that it's a gun "like" the SR-16? The XM-177 maybe? You won't be able to mount any RIS things on it, because there is no RIS system on that.

my point was..why mount something that costs 100 dollars or more on a 50 dollar gun? especially when it doesn't help at all

That's basically an M16A1/A2 knockoff, Andy. Anything that you will want to put on there will be either attached by tape, Yay!!!!!, or...some sort of plastic welding (JB Weld, for example). Tape rocks, just look at my gun and laugh bwahhaha. 1337 battery ownage.

well, it does look like you're holding it a little low... But seeing as how you're against hicap's because they're not real enough, or atleast you used to be, i don't see how you think a big ol' battery taped to your gun is any different. but hey, what ever float's your boat right? I hope that battery powers your gun for more thah half a skirmish before you have to go and call out to recharge your battery.

Bwahahaa...1700 mAh. ;D That'll last me two skirmishes with the amount of ammo I use. The realism factor for attaching a battery is different than hi-caps, in my opinion. Just look at this: It's an "Elbit Falcon Optical Sight" used by Israeli military forces, and if you look at the picture, it attached by: da-ding, some kind of little "wrap". That looks worse than my battery, IMO. I like to think of it as my homemade RIS system, ehheehe.
