Wow, that's some good news Mike, and the M4 is certainly a very nice choice too as I'm sure all of the M4 owners on the forums here will only confirm.
I'm looking forward to seeing you and your friends at some of our summer events.

I think that they ship to Michigan, they just don't guarantee that they will refund your money if it gets nabbed by customs. I think.

Im sorry i posted under mike, it was me who purchased, i reformated my piece of shit computer today and somehow it logged me off from mia, so i posted thinking i was under the name little leatherneck. sorry bout that. and yes, REDWOLF DOES ship to michigan. they said that if it gets nabbed by customs, then they will hold it for a week, call me if its alright to send it back to redwold, and when i say its ok(which i will) they send it back to redwolf, and redwolf sends it once again. so i aint worried. My friend has an M4, and i fell in love with it the first time i fired it. M4's RULE!

Why were you told MP5A4's were a good beginers gun because i would think that the M4A1 would be even better as a beginers gun because of its easy take down (for matenence) and because of its more conventiently located mag release and easier battery access.
oh, buy the way my name is Tom im good friends with little leatherneck and am new to the forams and fairly new to airsoft.

Tom, you sound rather "accusatory" (sp?)(word?) The M4 and the MP5A4 are by far the 2 best selling guns we carry, and I believe are both equally suited for a beginner. Here is a couple of things I think you overlooked in your A4 statement..... A4 paddle mag release is as easy as the m4 to manipulate & actually puts the mag in your hand in one fluid motion(I tend NOT to drop free my M4 mags into the dirt anyway), the A4 battery is very easy to get at in the full stock (actually you have to juggle a little more with the M4 battery) and as far as maintenance, beyond the hopup, there isn't anything else a "beginner" will be maintaining under the hood of the M4. not trying to start somethin, just throwing in my $.02 ;D
