I was advised by a friend to make a post here.... Please move to the appropriate sub forum.
On September 22nd, Kdogg contacted me on Arnie's Airsoft about an WA package I was selling, and asked that I ship first, before sending any payments. He introduced himself as the manager of Empire Airsoft (also the username he used to contact me): xiao_yuan_liu: you said you got my name from arnie's
xiao_yuan_liu: who might you be?
kdoggdsc: I'm the manager of Empire Airsoft
After I decline the request to ship first before payment, Kdogg told me that I could trust him, as he is the manager of EA. I checked out the website, clicked on the contact link, and Steve responded. Fair enough, I sent the WA, upgrade parts, and a metal slide to him via USPS priority.
He received said package two days later, but said that he could not pay immediately due to financial issues, I said fine, but please send the $ asap. He sent a couple of partial payments in the following month, but stopped after October 16th. I've been asking him to pay ever since, but he always comes up with an excuse as to why the money has not been sent yet.
Three weeks ago, he said that he sent a money order for that remaining $145 which he owes me, but two weeks after that, nothing was received. I asked him for the serial # of the money order, but received a reply that he lost it.
It should be noted that he offered to send the gun back to me: kdoggdsc: Yep. I still havent gotten a check from my aunt yet. I don't know, u want me to send your gun back?
xiao_yuan_liu: I won't have the cash to make up the difference
xiao_yuan_liu: I'm in debt already
xiao_yuan_liu: guess ill have to wait for you to get the cash somehow
kdoggdsc: no I ment til I pay u off
kdoggdsc: I have nothing else to say
xiao_yuan_liu: ah
xiao_yuan_liu: if you don't have a problem with that
xiao_yuan_liu: sure,
xiao_yuan_liu: that'll be great
That was on the 17th.
Steve, please send the money that you owe me, or send the gun back.
Before flaming me for taking this public, please note that the cease of payment has been going on for over 3 months now.

Which WA was it? Because I bought a WA MEU Late model from him recently. Well.. I bought it a long time ago, it took him 2 months to get it to me.. across the state. I was about to do something similar to what you've just posted. I got the gun in the end but I dunno if I want to do business with him again if I should expect 2 month shipping on an item that's only hours away. I hope you get this sorted out, good luck.

I'm sure a moderator will move this topic soon enough, but I believe this would go under the "retailer reviews" section, although I'm not sure if it would go under Empire Airsoft, since he is the manager of EA, or under Other, since it's an individual problem.
Best of luck with the situation, it's unfortunate that situations like this arise...

Thanks, I didn't want to post it under a review of Empire Airsoft, as Steve left me a voicemail message saying that "If you ever want to see a penny of what I still owe you, you had better make it clear that Empire Airsoft had NOTHING to do with this"

"Kdogg does manage Empire, but it's not his business. Literally. Even those involved in the business of airsoft are allowed to have personal dealings. It's unfortunate if his personal financial situation has changed since making the deal, but life goes that way sometimes. And... If he offered to send you the gun back, and you want it back, Why not refund what he's paid and get it back? If you want to leave a note about your experience, feel free to leave it here: miairsoft.proboards70.com/index.cgi?board=rate&action=display&thread=1140846814however, it seems like you're causing yourself more problems than Kdogg is. If you're interested in resolving the issue, call him." Hi there, I understand that all business men are allowed to have private dealing, but since he introduced himself as the manager of Empire Airsoft, and manipulated me into trusting him using the fact that he's a manager of a trustworthy Airsoft shop, it's very much related to his work. He said that he'll send the gun back to me, untill he can send the rest, which of course, never happened. I can't keep a record of phone conversations.

I had deleted my post when I realized that the gun was no longer in Kdogg's possession. Cute that you decided to respond anyways.
So he sends you a money order, it goes missing, and you want him to send more money right away. This is after he attempted to send it by paypal, and the receiving account is mysteriously frozen. Already knowing that kdogg is strapped for cash, you want him to cough up another $145 to send to you to another paypal account, without even waiting to see what happened to the money order. Only one of two things happen to money orders; they get lost in the mail, or they get cashed. It takes time for the post office to determine what happened and provide a refund. I think it would be a little foolish for Kdogg to send additional funds without looking into the disappearance of the initial $145 (which takes approx. 45 days according to the post office). He has not disputed the fact that he owes you the money that you claim, but neither is it cut and dry like you present it.

"I had deleted my post when I realized that the gun was no longer in Kdogg's possession. Cute that you decided to respond anyways." Can't figure out how the quote reply system worked here, so I just copy and pasted. "So he sends you a money order, it goes missing, and you want him to send more money right away. [Offline Message (Fri Dec 15 14:50:55 2006)] kdoggdsc: Looking for a Marsoc or a Desert Warrior in OD Green [Offline Message (Fri Dec 15 14:51:10 2006)] Strapped for cash eh? Sounds like he had enough to pay me back AND get another WA. I asked him for the serial number of the M/O, so I could attempt to take care of this my self. And that was lost, apparently.

You ever try to keep track of one of those stubs for three weeks?
And $1000 goes away real fast when you have car troubles.

Heh, I asked for it 10 days after he said it was sent, and was told that he couldn't find it after two weeks of what he said to be the original posting date.
Aye, I agree that $1000 goes away awfully fast. You think i'm being unreasonable here eh? Try going on instant noodle for two months. Now you see why i'm trying to get the money. Now.
Should be noted that I talked with Kdogg on the phone, and we are trying to work this out. He said that a rough estimate of when he'll pay me back would be a month from now. I'll revive this thread once that time period is up, or if he send the money before then.

I'm glad to hear the two of you are working it out.
And when it comes to the Ramen, my record is 3 months. I hope my wife likes her ring.

I like how people always think the best of people in situations like this. Like how when you go out of your way to fix a gun here or there free, hook someone up on a good deal for something etc, those people never have a good word to say when a person could use it. Thanks guys However, Arc.. Thanks man.. Thanks for the heads up etc. Thanks for jumping in my shit for me. I never denied owing our new friend here $145 dollars. Everyone here knows I've been dealing with some heavy bullshit lately. We had to put my mother in a nursing home so I've assumed all most all of her bills, I lost my home, my van died, etc. Thank god for Yong giving me the job at his shop and letting me move into one of his apartments. If it wasn't for Yong, I'd be homeless right now. He said, she said, pointing fingers, it really doesn't matter. I told you I would pay you back when I could. You agreed and here we are. I really did send you a money order. I have no reason to lie. I sent money other times via Paypal until your friends accounts stopped taking my debit card didnt I? Yes.... I'm trying to see what the Post Office can do, and I do not believe you are trying to pull anything over on me which is why I'm trying to work with you on this but you have blown this WAY out of control. That said, yes we spoke on the phone finally. Took a couple tries, I got hung up on ;( Now who would want to hang up on me? I have such a winning personality hehe Anyway we got something worked out and I hope to have this resolved quicker then the agreed time but I didn't want to make a promiss I couldnt keep so I was kinda vague on the date and what not. So sit back, chill, have a beer if you are old enough and everything will be fine. I always take care of people. Lately its been a bit slow, ask Mr Embed, Knief and Tack here. Shit, Tack.. I've had your Mk23 for what a couple months now? I have nothing else to say... I know where Tack lives though, he won't say shit

I wasn't going to get into this post but you have to know that you should have let Kdoggy research the money order before you dragged him through the mud!! I have had nothing but great dealings with kdogg and he has always been upfront and honest with me. On another note, if you ever give someone something without payment you get what you deserve!!! It sounds like you are getting it worked out so cheers to that!

And somehow, I end up sounding like the person with the problem here... I gave him the gun without payment because he said he could be trusted to that extent, due to his profession. If you read the previous posts you would have noticed that I gave him a week before asking for the serial # so I could research that M/O myself. Would have taken less time that way, as I'm only a few blocks from the PO. Hopefully the situation will allow Steve to keep his word this time, so we can all get this over with. Note: I posted this here not because of the M/O problem, but because of the 4 month old non-payment problem. I'm ticked, pissed, and sick of Ramen noodle. "I like how people always think the best of people in situations like this. Like how when you go out of your way to fix a gun here or there free, hook someone up on a good deal for something etc, those people never have a good word to say when a person could use it.
