All I can say about this guy is if you do see him around here again dont make any transactions with him and tell him he still owes me $30.
I made the mistake of sending him a personal check and even after speaking with him weeks later he assured me that he would ship the item I still have not recived anything.
A lesson learned for me I guess.

another lesson: when sending checks to a person, post-date it far enough that you can put a stop-check on it if you dont recieve the item

If the person doesn't accept Paypal, I always send a Postal Money order, that way if I have to get it back, It is possible. Another benefit is, if he screws you over, he can be charged with a Federal offense which is severe jail time for mail fraud.
