Wow! It's a nice change to see some positive opinions.. All I've been reading is negativity.
And, I agree Kdogg, it was Ryan's first event, people should understand that it wasn't going to be GREAT the first time. Live and learn, ya know? The next one I'm sure will be better.
I can say, the MN. WI., and IL. guys are not happy. Check their after action reports on RedDawn's forum if you haven't already.
As a mod, I could see that coming a mile away with them being so difficult and rude in PM's and on the private forums.
The VA. guys haven't said much as of yet. I'm sure they will have their opinions as well. Hopefully they aren't as big of dicks as the other guys.

There was a post on Arnies that mentioned how bad it was...
Although like Crazyman said, it was their first event, and of course live and learn.

It wasn't that bad, 50% of the problem was people's attitude. I still don't understand why some of those guys think they have the right to act like they own the place, and in turn get to call the shots. There was plently o' pissing contests going on. The second day was good fun, I didn't play but had a good time training the younger players. I didnt know you were there Kdogg what team were you on?

Hahaha I thought you were supposed to bunk with us and you were MIA. Knief even called your name out during the debriefing to see if you were there. Overall the event was a blast. The first day was full of "Call your hits, fucker!" and such. There was definitely some organization issues that needed to be worked out. I'm sure by the next event they'll have this all in order. I liked assaulting the building and all the IED's. The IED's were awesome.

Yeah that was my bad, last minute some buds came up from NC and I ended up bunking at Bill's place. We stayed up till 1am working to fix the event, and there were some damn good ideas that came about. It's too bad the entire group didn't go with the training on sunday, you really would have had a good time. Anyways the first day I stayed pretty low after one of the assholes on DHS blind fired me in the face and f'd me up pretty good. The second day I just gave training in the woodshop. Good news is I won 4 of the prizes, including the bazooka

i agree with crazyman it is really good to see all the positive responses to this event. i had a pretty good time other than being in the mass of people that got shot from like 5 feet away. no joke i got shot in the nuts from 3 feet away, that was a low point. but oh well things happen, i dealt with it, i sat down and came back with a vengence but not to a point where i was being stupid, just came back ready for more, ya know? well sunday was a lot of fun. i learned a lot from sgt. page. as well as all the other leaders.
thanks again kender for another awesome time.
