Hey, Im starting a team in the West Branch/Rose City/Houghton Lake area. Im not here to look for players but rather to ask for tips on how to properly start a team... Procedures like. If anyone could help me that'd be great.!

First of all you need to have a group of people willing to participate, and figure out how far you as a team are willing to take the sport of airsoft. What I mean by that is, do you want to just be a casual bunch of players with springers, or do you want to be a hardcore MilSim team, stuff like that. If MilSim, is there any group of operators you want to emulate?
Things of that nature..
Jack.

I understand that part. I mean once I have a crew semi together, do we put up a site and start games or should we see if more players are around, have them join WHILE putting up a site and ETC.... What are the steps between a bunch of people and a hardcore MilSim team?

Practice. Look into some books regarding military tactics, weapon handlings, all of that. If you're team is devoted, it will take time but it should pay off. The GK website has a bunch of books regarding weapons, tactics, and simple errors on the field. You could also get a lot of people to tell you about other sources of info. (Field Manuals, Past Experiences) It probably wouldn't hurt to try to get someone with military experience either. GK Articles/Book RecommendationsThere are a few guys in this site that have served or are even serving. I can name four off my head...DE50man, Snip, Arc, and Camophreak served too. They could all be ehlpful maybe.
