To bad Im a 45+ minute drive when the traffics good or I would enlist right away. I love the field and the team is friendly and not bad at tactics. I remember getting some SFOD M60 loving on the damn bunkered hill but I also remember getting some snipes.
Due to me being far away from SFOD and that I cant spend money on Mutlicam to cover it up with jute for a ghillie Id rather just be another guy on the field thats part of the SFOD Community.
I would like to see the training course just for shits and giggles though.

Hell yea, SFOD guys are the shit!! If you want to get on a team that has the guns, the guts, and the glory, SFOD is it. Really glad our team (RATS) and SFOD have become friends over the past few OPs. Every guy on the team has their own special talents and Corey's mouth is so damn pretty. Just be careful and protect your nipples new recruits!! (If you know Corey, you know what I mean!!)

Do you guys practice at your field near Davidson? If so I may be interested
Also how often do you practice? I know it was said before that you practice as much as possible, but do you have any idea like how many times in a good month?

Like I said, we practice as often as possible.
There's no set schedule or number of times per month that we meet. If we can meet once a month, we meet once a month. If we can meet 10 times a month, then we meet 10 times a month (a little exaggerated, but you get the idea).
If the landowner gives us the Okay, we're gonna get together and do something.
Because of the large quantity of people who have applied, I feel the following needs to be stated
We've been processing applications left and right, and a soon as we've made some final decisions we'll be in touch with people, but recruiting is FAR from closed, so keep 'em coming.
Now, about some of the interest that's been expressed. I've gotten a ton of people who send me a PM and expect me to track them down. I'm gonna tell you all straight up, I dont track people down for recruitment. I hate hunting people down, and I'm just not gonna do it. If this applies to you, please keep reading.
On the other hand, I've had some people who have contacted me then gone out of their way to find me at our events, find me at events that our team has gone to and I've rolled with them for a while to see what they're all about. This is definitely the way to go if you want to be considered for recruitment. 1) Leave me a brief message, get some info on upcoming events, etc. 2) Attend the event that was discussed in our brief interaction 3) Track me down at the event and we'll talk.
See, we at SFOD are not looking for just another couple of guys to shoot people with. We're looking for people who want to be part of the team, both on the field and off. Someone who'll show up to the build parties and help us out. Someone who attends our games to help us RUN the event, not just play on our field. Now unfortunately that will exclude some people on account of distance. Regrettable, but it happens. As I said, we're looking for someone who will be part of the team both on and off the field, not just another shooter.
Any questions, feel free to contact me. For those of you we've talked to and have gone through your "Training Day" so to speak, I'll be in touch one way or the other, the Team Officers are still talking over your recruitment.

I'm interested. I'm fairly new to airsoft but I currently have -M15A4 tactical -1 high cap mag and 1 medium -1 battery -Full Seal goggles -blackhawk tactical vest and balaclava -black bud's (for now)
I'm 19 years old and balance the work/college and girlfriend schedule. I try to make time every weekend to play, its the only thing that keeps me sane. Also, I live in Lapeer County so Flint/Davison/Grand Blanc is a short drive for me Please send any info to Dave_Morris33@peoplepc.com

..Greyfox thinks everyone has a pretty mouth...It's pretty much standard operating procedure for SFOD.

Is there any application to fill out or do I just contact you directly? I am fairly interested, as this is the only team with a field within an hour from where I live. I've played with Connors a few times at the SpyOps/Dirty Dozen field, and hes a blast to play with, (Or get shot by.)
I'll be sure to come to your field within a month or so to meet you guys. I would've been there today, but I have a broken collarbone at the moment.
I'm not sure if this is a necro or not, but if it is, I apollogize and my post can be deleted.

No worries man..no necro..you are interested in the team, that's good enough to revive an old thread about said team. You will want to Contact Grey Fox about recruitment. I think he has final say, since he's kinda the head honcho. When I applied, I just used the RAGE recruitment info for a basis..We at SFOD are pretty much just lookin' for fun people to airsoft with that'll be part of the team and help out at events we host, and be good friends off the field.

You'll want to talk to Grey Fox. I do know that we're always willing to take a look at new people. IMO, we could use a few more new faces to shot with, but it's Fox's final call.
