It's CIF that issues RFI gear for deployment. This is how it looks when I'm in the turret. Nothing on my legs. Cant stand it. I've been driving lately, so it's in the process of changing to a more Riflemen setup. He was talking about the IOTV, which you would get from RFI.

... We've 4-5 IOTV's in a cage. And they're all brand new. No idea how we got them, but 2 have already been signed out to soldiers. I think they may just be ones that can be "borrowed" when we have range days.. but Im sure I can haggle my way into getting one for keeps. And again, IBA's and IOTV's are being sold on craigslist like candy

IOTV's are being sold on craigslist like candy Tempting, I'll never get issued one through our unit.

Keep an eye on "Killeen/Ft Hood, TX" They're only up for a few hours at a time, then either sold or taken down.

Decided to bring my IBA out of retirement, here's what I'll be rolling with when I go 203 and pistol like I did at Northern Wind, which was some of the most fun I've had in terms of weaponry choice. I'm pondering some type of pouch that I can put my propane bottle into for the back right... any ideas? Point Blank IBA 2 x Pantac CB 40mm Pouches Pantac Khaki Utility Pouch Pantac Khaki M4 x2 and Pistol x4 Pouch SDS Canteen Pouch w/ Canteen

How big is the propane bottle? That may help a bit.
Looking weird, but certainly effective.

Actually after some goofing around, it turns out the propane tank fits into the SDS Canteen pouch, so it loks like I'll have to get another.
Effective is what I was going for, now I just gotta figure out where to stash my rockets...

SAW pouch with a divider? If you're using those nerf footballs they would prolly fit perfectly. Maybe even a triple AK pouch?

I was gonna suggest the canteen, haha.
Like GB said, a 60/SAW pouch could probably do the trick. For the rockets, I would suggest a pop-flare pouch for the long ones or perhaps you could just shove them all in a separate upright utility pouch.

Arrived yesterday. Didn't care to tell anyone except Geoff though. It's an oldschool ISSAK. Made pre-2003 in OD an painted a sexy Tan. Modified it a bit when it got here. Along with the integrated LBE bands, I zipped as many loose straps as possible. And made a ghetto single point with some included pieces. Now some of the cooler things. If you didn't already note in the previous post, it was used by an SF dude during early OEF, so there are some cool litte things that make this rig a nice piece of history along with being very hot. Dude sprayed his name on the inside with stencils. Very cool. He taped up the grommets as well, found used 500mph tape in every pouch that had a grommet. And one of my most favorite features is the ghetto single point sling mount (the black piece). I took the biner, which came with the rig (was hidden on an adjustment strap) and zipped it to the mount. So far I absolutely LOVE it, much more comfortable than a chest rig or plate carrier because everything is on your hips and shoulders but not your back. Even as I was opening up the velcro I was choking on legit Astan sand. The biner and all of the grommets are a bit rusted. This is definitely an awesome piece of history, God knows what this thing has been through. I'm certainly glad I picked it up! Once again, thanks Geoff!

The history behind that alone makes it a pretty sick piece of gear. Really nice find G.

Thought I posted last night, but it looks great G. I'm gonna have to try it on at the next game.
