All thanks goes to Bonesaw.
And C, I mainly wanted it not only for the cool guy factor but also because it would keep weight on the shoulders and hips, which is a lifesaver for long term stuff.
The Warlord is a great rig, but all of that weight on you chest sucks after a few hours.

I would have thought that the army would have given you more pouches... huh... Well, I must say though, It looks good, both the IBA and FLV are pretty nice, just as you said, more pouches are a must.

Not until he gets deployed. The Army's short on them at the moment.

Have fun with that. Isn't the IOTV cumbersome as fuck?

Yes, that's standard issue gear. 3(2x) M4 mag pouches, 2 grenade pouches, 1 flashbang pouch, and a few other pouches you'll never ever use. He's lucky, he doesn't have side SAPI's on his IBA I have nothing else to say.

I have the Side SAPI plates and the Crotch/Collar guards. None of which I have to wear while garrison. They issue you a few more pouches but most of them are just garbage. Ive got another Mag Pouch on order and a nicer dump pouch. Also, Im not sure if you can see it, but there is an IFAC on the side (Med Pouch).
And as they said, I dont get an IOTV until they start issuing for deployment. If Im lucky when the supply section back from leave, I can get ahold of one, but thats highly unlikely.

More than likely you'll get it from RFI or whoever the heck it was that hands out deployment gear.

It's CIF that issues RFI gear for deployment. This is how it looks when I'm in the turret. Nothing on my legs. Cant stand it. I've been driving lately, so it's in the process of changing to a more Riflemen setup.

Theyve signed for quite a bit of random shit and seeing as they recently deployed/are returning they may have some equipment left over. Shit, you've got stupid soldier who are strapped for cash and selling IBA's/IOTV's for $100 on craigs list. On a base with 50,000+ soldiers, they're not too hard to come by.

Haha, that's true. It's hilarious how CIF tries charging an arm and a leg for something like an ACH if it's damaged, meanwhile, you can throw a rock in any direction and find someone selling one for like 50 bucks.
