I wanted something different to wear, and since redsoldier doesn't have any M23s (Russian Vest) I decided to get something to hold me over. Of course I turned to CTD, and they had exactly what I was looking for. Overall, i'm impressed. For $30 bucks after shipping it's well worth it.  Hydration carrier built in, with another pocket underneath for.....condoms or something:  Each side has a larger pouch with built in slots to make them dump pouches:  www.cheaperthandirt.com/BJR075-65166-616.htmlI can't find a screenshot to prove it, but after playing COD4 earlier it also looks similar to one of the terrorist vests in COD4. EDIT: I taped all the loose ends, old Army habit. It doesn't come that way, there is loose webbing everywhere. Also it's not Molle, everything is sewn on. Pouches are meant for 5.56 mags, and each holds 2 with dividers inside. Works decent with all my 5.45 bakelite mags. And fat guys, it works for us too. I've only got it tightened about half way and i'm not small  |

Nice MC stuff Knife. I would buy that thing from you right now if you would allow it  Those pouches were impossible to track down, weren't they? I cannot find HSGI or Eagle stuff in MC anywhere. Good Find! Also, those utility pouches are made by Tactical Tailor? Do they match pretty good to the other stuff (Eagle, HSGI) in your opinion? They look pretty nice. Jump--Good find on that rig you've got as well. $30 is a GREAT deal!!! |

Do they match pretty good to the other stuff (Eagle, HSGI) in your opinion? They look pretty nice. Pouches are getting slightly easier to source now. It seems Eagle has recently started sending more out to non Military sources. Can't say for how long it will last, but for the time being, with a bit of hunting you can find some items. The TT pouches are nice, although smaller than I thought they would be. They only take up four rows of MOLLE. Pretty good for their price, but I absolutely hate the Malice clips TT and HSGI use on thier pouches. I'd say they are worth the buy. I'm debating on buying some horizontal GP pouches from them for my Eagle Universal rig, but not sure if they'd look right. Might I recommend checking out, www.multicamaddict.com? Companies drop by and have let us know whats available. Some places also offer sales for MCA members, like www.socomponents.com. They've got a small range of products right now because they are brand new. G, check out the AR thread, more pictures of my rifle there. |
