I plan on selling this gun (check SEMIA commerce for my thread,) but I figured it was unique enough to take pictures of for the benefit of everyone. The worst thing that'll happen is that if it doesn't sell, I'll just keep it as a backup sidearm.
The gun is pretty damn small, measures less than 6 inches long. It looks like it'd be rather appropriate for a mobster flick (think Al Pacino's Bistro scene in the Godfather) as a easily concealed blaster.
Other thoughts:
- The mag release is rather interesting in its placement - at the [bottom] of the gun. It takes a little effort to reinsert a mag, though with the rarity and price of M1934 mags (not to mention its rather high capacity of 20 bb's) I don't know if anyone will have spares...
- The lanyard loop (don't know the correct term, someone please correct me) is placed a little awkwardly on the lower right hand corner of the left grip, a little annoying for us lefties (I'm usually right handed but left eye dominant) but I can live with it.
- If you have small hands, holding this gun shouldn't be a problem.
Here the gun is laid out next to a KWC M9 (borrowed for shooting a movie) as a reference for its size.
Another comparison pic, with a mechanical pencil.
I don't plan on touching it unless it doesn't sell (as the gun is in brand new condition,) so the trademarks and orange paint are staying on for now. Of course, that also means that I won't have much to say about performance yet, I'll probably update later.
