I think that that particular bayonet, although not characteric of the AK, blends in well enough for you to get away with it without difficulty. I see nothing wrong with the stock. It looks like it just needs some varnish and would look fine. If anything, the handle doesn't square up with everything else.

sorry man, but IMO one should not put a USMC bayonette on an AK... it's just wrong

the bayonet isnt on there anymore about the handle, I'm not sure I could square it up to the reciever anymore, beside cutting the underside of the new metal reciever a little farther out to go flush with the handle

No, Josh, you misunderstood me. It just looks like the color doesn't match the rest of the AK. That's what I meant by "square up". You shouldn't by a new stock. Just work a little bit with the one you got, make it look like that sweet foregrip. I have no idea what do do with that handle though

What we mean by handle is that plastic looking part where you hand goes to hold it and with a little extending of the figure you can fire the AK (Just to clarify, not trying to make you look stupid, but I know i misunderstand stuff a lot). I say, in my opinion, either make a handle out of wood to replace it, buy a wood handle that will match the rest of the wood, or get an AK Spetnaz type black one. I like that bayonet, but it doesn't look good on an AK . But since it is off, I guess it doesn't hurt anyone anymore. Oh, and is it real or a Replica? Because I didn't see anything info about it.

I like the look of it. The woods is a very nice touch that few people invest in but it makes an AK look so much better. I'm guessing but I think that it is real.

Assuming you were directing that statement at me, I knew what I was talking about. Josh was saying he wasn't pleased with the stock and I thought that the stock was well worth altering rather than replacing. It wouldn't take much to make it look like the foregrip. As far as the handle goes, I was saying that it rather than the stock needed the most work, probably because it's plastic Josh, you should definitely get a wooden handle. It would pull everything together. Best of luck. Nighty

Wasn't directed towards you Nighty . And yes I agree, the handle need to be replaced first and foremost. The Stock and Foregrip are good, they just need a little altering. Also, how big of a battery can you could you fit in the stock?

Concerning the battery, if he bought the wood kit, it should be able to take a large battery and if it can't, then commence a milling project!!

My stock is far too ground up and hacked apart near the attachment side to successfully mount it or even make anything good come out of it. That pistol grip (handle) is far more comfortable IMO than any traditional style AK handle, plus it is unique so I like it more. (I also spent a lot of time fiting it) I have personally made the wood and pistol grip to fit from real AK parts. I could just paint the pistol grip a different color because im not scrapping it, its beautiful IMO! Color suggestions? perhaps a deep brown or gray like this?

Black.
Is the Bayonet a real bayonet, or is it a fake rubber one?

if possible, make it as wood-like as possible, or if thats not an option, just plain matte black should do it, thats my 2 cents
