Here is my baby in Technicolor with my springer sidearm. I'll try to upload more images later. www.pbase.com/c0la/Edit: Uploaded a couple more pictures with a 10mm Straight *working* mag.

Not at all. I find it very convenient not having to fiddle around with changing mags and putting them pouches. Plus it looks neat. I have nothing else to say.

sorry if im too technical box, but your gun would be called an MP-10 or an MP5/10 if i undestood correctly that the straight mags were portraying the 10mm round

This is kinda an old post but how much were the straight mags and where did you get them.

actually it'd be an MP5/10SD5 if you wanna be technical. it would NOT be an MP-10, Tom Clancy novels notwithstanding. The straight mags are also used on the MP5/40, a much more popular 9mm MP5 alternative

sorry to bring up a dead thread. but where do i get straight mp5 mags?
more importantly, can i get those for an m4? without doing the jet custom gun.
EDIT: nevermind. AirsoftClub makes the kit.

I still have yet to see them, someone else may know. Either way the ones pictured apear to be a homemade mod to me due to the amount of foreign green material in the mag well. I would speculate that will some mods to a mag the right width you could get it worked out, or perhaps making the mag body then cutting and inserting the hicap internals from an existing mag would work(cut the front strap then flex the feed portion flat). THough that would be a pricy venture and it would all depend on how much you wanted that look as obviously it wouldn't change performance for the better(could be worse if you do it wrong;)).
Oh and it's not reviving a dead thread in "Gallery" as these are pretty open all the time, though it is encouraged to reply with questions and/or usefull information which you did.
