You want a good war story patric?
After launch, I went off on a covert op to try and kidnapp/kill the enemy general. At the time, our base was being hit pretty dang hard by just about the entire enemy force (Russians and Columbians). So after about twenty minutes of walking down and around their left flank I came up on their ungaurded HQ. I drew my new M92f and with my MP5 in my other hand I started a slow low crouch then broke into a run into their HQ tent. Inside, the only person I found was their general, whom i quickly dispatched with a knife kill. As far as i know, i was the only one to dispatch someone with a knife kill.

Nice job Snip... If you hadn't killed our General, Ghost Squad (MTASC) was gonna... ;D
By the way... Who won? That's right it was the Russians and Columbians!!!!! ;D
It was nice to play with those who went down there!! For those of you who didn't go, you missed a great time!
The field was nuts! I felt like I was a member of 10th Mountain!!!! No normal hills, just large very steep hills! We got a workout and it was a riot!!!

Yep, a riot. Great field, great teammates, great time. Too much to recall in just one post. A bit of swearing and name calling from the U.S. side, though. Not quite sure what they were so upset about...

HEHE, I'll take a guess and say it was because of your amazing sniping ability combined with the mighty powers of your APS2 SV.
Hope you guys will share some stories with us. *crossing fingers*
Did anyone happen to take any pictures/video?

I know I wasn't upset by frostee's skills. Not after I shot him within the first 5 minutes of the game. That field was hellacious, it was either all uphill or all downhill depending on which way you were facing! I had fun sneaking around. I sat about 25 yards outside the terrorist HQ and radioed back everything I heard their general saying for about 2 hours.

Jacko,
Were you one of the three late guys ? Because I was so sure it was one of you guys...too suspicious to be normal...hehe.
and as you will notice, all the planning was done out of the general sight anyway =)

Three late guys? I'm not sure what you mean, blade. If you mean one of three guys who was late getting out of the field for lunch, then yeah, that was probably me. I like to think my intel wasn't wasted. Did we get the point for holding the refinery? I heard that was being contested but that was a major part of my recon, reporting the size of squads and when they were moving out to hit the refinery again and again. At one point, some DDT was on the opposie side of the ravine as my position, about.. Oh, I'd say 30 feet away, and he looked straight at me a few times but never realized I was a human, I guess.

Wallace took a bunch of pictures yesterday... He is supposed to post them on the Airsoft Ohio's board soon... Let me say this... This was one hell of an event!! There were some minor problems (ie calling yourself out) but all in all it was a blast!!! Jacko, it wasn't hard sitting outside of HQ... 9 times out of 10 there was nobody there on perimeter guard!!! That made it a little easier for you!!!!

Hey, it's not like 6MM put a tube and a funnel in his mouth. Jason was a dumbass for getting thrashed (In abou 45 minutes, no less) and it's his fault he drank.

I must admit that I took my fair share of hits during the 2 days, but I gave out as good as I got.
Definitely the funniest and most aggravating memory for me occured during the second day (I think it was during the defend the cocaine stash scenario). I was sitting in an open-legged shooting position on our side of the main valley, looking up at the wreckage which looked to be about 90-110yards away. I clearly see five or six tangos moving to the west along the U.S. ridge. One tango stops near a tree and is talking to another so taking a few extra seconds with aiming (standing with his left side facing me), I shoot and hit him in the leg. He looks at his leg, looks down the hill in my general direction and just continues standing there and talking. I was upset. I yell out something about taking the hit... no response... I yell again and one of his teammates says, "Did you get hit?" and the tango responds, "Yeah, in the leg." There is then some unintelligible speech and the hit tango moves out of view.
I was mad. I started taking shots at anyone walking around in the wreckage. I didn't hit anyone else at that time, but I kept a lot of heads down. So much so that there was no return fire. I have no idea if they didn't know where I was at or what, but I was in a clearing at the bottom of the valley directly in front of the wreckage. There was no other fire (incoming or outgoing) during my mad shooting spree and at one point I "tinged" one off a barrier where two tangos were hiding. Through the silence came a voice of defiance from the U.S. members behind the barrier... "A**HOLE!" At that point the tension (for me at least) was relieved a bit as members of my team started laughing out loud at the U.S. response. I continued my mad shooting spree while walking back and forth from the bridge to the research center area right out in the open. I made a few more long range hits and took one myself before that scenario was over.
Thank you to the team members who got on the radio and encouraged me to keep my cool and to keep shooting... I appreciate it.
*Wallace should have two pictures of me during the mad shooting spree. One from about 20 yards downhill of the spot where I hit the first tango (on the U.S. side) and another from much closer.*
