The role of the Support Person, this person will be carrying with them 5,000rds of extra ammo for their team. They will have 10, 500 rd bottles with them. There will be 3 support persons per team. 2. The year is 2007 and the fighting in the middle east has now started to spread into the nation of Uzbekistan. There is a small but very well armed and equipped rebel force who have been doing hit-n-run operations on the newly democratic government. The attacks have gotten so frequent in numbers that the government is not quite sure how to handle this situation.
Intel is telling us that this group of rebels is calling them selves the RHG(Right Hand of God). They are known to be lead by one of Uzbekistan’s former military Generals, but not sure who it is.
The attacks have been going on now for several months, and has come to a stalemate. The local government has asked for help from several of their neighbors in the region for help, but as of this time none have offered any.
The UN Security Counsel has asked the US to help bring order back to this unstable area, by providing any and all support that they can, in, what ever form they chose. The US has agreed to send in US Army Rangers form the 101st Airborne Div, And US Marines form the 26th MEU. These Units will help bring stability to the area, but will be under the command of the current Uzbekistan Secretary of the Military.
The government has ask for the help of retaking a key military base on the edge of the deep woods of the country’s mountain side. This is area is also to be know where one of the main rebel camps are. It is also known that the rebels hold many areas of the mountain side, with many fortified areas. These areas can not be hit form the air, due to lack of clear intel on the fortifications.
The RHG has told the government that they have several “dirty bombs” and bio-weapons at the ready that can be used at any time. It will be one of the many key tasked of the US/Uz Military to force’s to find these and disarm them.
The RHG is dug in tight in preparation for a all out struggle with the US led force’s. the group will not give up easily. They will fight to the last man.
Tensions between the two forces are at an all-time high since the new government has taken power. Many locals believe a all-out war is at hand.
Operation Snow Bound Official Rules
This event and Airsoft is a game of honor. You are expected to call your own hits. Do not call hits against opposing team players. Doing so is poor sportsmanship and can result in penalty points.
Players caught cheating or attempting to cheat will incur penalty points for their team, and will be ejected from the event without refund.
Players who attempt to steal, cause bodily harm, or otherwise break the law will be turned over to local law enforcement officers and ejected from the event without refund.
Eye protection must be worn at all times while on the playing fields. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you violate this rule you will be ejected form the event without refund.
There will be no blind firing at all. You must be able to see the target at which your gun is pointed.
If a player is hit anywhere on their person, gear, or anything being carried: player is wounded.
When wounded by pellet/rocket/grenade/mine, otherwise wounded/removed from combat, players should do the following:
Say “hit” three times very loudly so that it can be heard.
Place your red “dead” rag on the barrel of your gun.
Move quickly to a re-insertion point. Or you can wait for a medic. You can only wait 5 minutes for a medic to come to you.
Re-insertion/medic rules will be gone over on the briefing before the game.
Medic rules: SAME AS OPFF
Weapon and chrono.
All weapons must be choreographed and tagged by event staff member. Players should report to the chronograph with a empty mag and the staff member will insert the testing bbs.
Players are responsible for reporting to the event with their weapons already meeting the velocity limits. You will not be able to tear down your weapon at the chronograph station.
All non sniper weapons, (that is all weapons that can fire full auto) will be chrono’d using .20 bb’s the limit for non-sniper weapons is 420fps.
All sniper weapons (can not fire full auto) will be chrono’d using .25 bb’s. the limit for sniper arms is 500fps.
The chron station will be open on Saturday morning @ around 730am. Any untagged guns found in game will be removed along with that person, and they will be ejected out of the event without refund.
There will be no pyro on the field unless it has been approved by the Op officials on Saturday. Smoke grenades will be sold on site for this event.
