Yes, all the battles are come as you are. Not team required, though if it is a 2 on 2 we would need to find you a partner, which should not be a problem. As for a gun, we do rent AEG's and CA so if you do want to come out and play, we have a rental available for you. Just go to our website to see what we have available. Just let us know ahead of time so we can make sure that one is on hold and available for you. Also, please let us know if you are or are not going to make any of the major events as they get closer, so we can make sure to balance the teams out. Thank you. Hope to see on the battle field! www.cra-eastcoastairsoft.com/MIECA.html

As DP, stated we do rent AEG's in which we have CA and ISC's as for these events, being a member of MIRAG is not a requirment to come out to our field and play. we are now getting in to more night games, but as for this. please lets keep this on topic wiht discussion on Op: Close Quaters.
Thanks

it depends on the AEG. All of the ones we have are all brand new CA's and we will be getting in 2 mkii 249's CA's of course.
the avg cost is around 35.00 that includes 2 high cap mags 1,000rds bat of course and googles.

I'm not positive my team (000th {MA}), will be able to make it. We didn't have adequate time to prepare.

there is realy nothing to prepare for this event. I think this will just be a great time for all players to come out and have great time.

Well MOA just wants to say thanks for no one showing up for MOA's first event. The day was perfect for playing and having a great airsoft event. On top of this MOA now feels as they have not only wasted their time on this, but a very large sum of money getting ready for this event.
We are hoping that this is not a sign to what is going to happen come Op Snow Bound. We where not expecting a huge amount of people for this, but we where hoping to get around 20-30 players for this event.
Due to this happening, MOA will be implemnting a new policy for registering for Major Events. More information on this new policy to come on the MOA website.

I don't want to be an ass, but you're response in this forum over no one attending was rather ill put.
There are a variety of reasons, at least that I see, why no one came to the event.
First, the event was advertised as being a 2x2 CQB tourny, but was later changed to a more traditional format. This vacillating back and forth between tourney and traditional game probably scared people away or simply left them with questions.
Second, I know that I personally sent an e-mail to inquire about questions that I had about the event and did not recieve a reply until today. Now I understand that you guys were probably busy doing all sorts prep work, but nonetheless. Someone should be able to answer questions about the event if not simply to encourage people to come.
Thirdly, the scenario that was dreamed up for this event while certainly neat sounding, was poorly written on this forum. It seemed whoever was writing was just sorting pulling the idea out of their hat at that moment as opposed to sitting down and typing up a eloquent, grammatically correct summary of the event.
Forthly, a visit to your website yielded no information on the event aside from the name, day and time. I don't even recall finding a discription of Operation Close Quarters... this certainly needs to be remedied in order to attract potential players.
Basically, it was these three things, combined with my stupid work schedule that kept me from attending. I would love to attend MOA events and you may very well see me at some of the upcoming games, but I don't think that you're helping your own cause coming into this forum and yelling at members for their lack of attendance. If you are the promoter then it is your responsibility to fill the seats, not the consumer.
Anyway, I hope you guys have better luck next time and I truly feel for your lose of time, treasure and talent!
The registration policy is probably a good one.
Thanks for listening,

Thank you for your response for this, as for the Registration policy it is not on the website so that we know who is coming to the MOA events. As for yelling at players, we where not doing that, we where just letting it know that we where a little upset to people no showing up.
As for your email, we here at MOA are sorry for not getting back to you on this sooner. Thanks for your input on this.
Hope to see you on the Field of Battle

The team I am apart of, got a late start onto what was happening.
I would have picked up everyone, but I attend our Regionals game Friday night, myself and Lucky. So I had no money nor gas to get there and pay the interance fee.
I hope you are able to Attend the RD event, so you may pay me back for not showing up.
