I am in the market for a relatively inexpensive tac light for one of my pistols. I want to get something good, but not break my pocket book while doing it, and since I really know nothing when it comes to lights and such, I bring my question here..What would ya'll suggest? I have been looking at the G&P M3 clone. It's not too much, actually it's right in my price range. I know it's no surefire, but I can't affford to drop 100+ on a weapon light..What do you guys think?

Before looking at the link I was going to suggest getting a clone of the Insight M3. I have the real one and I love it. It clips on to my Blackhawk SERPA drop leg when I'm not using it and once it goes on my pistol it doesn't move unless I move it.
Great choice my friend.
If you do want to spend a little more money, I found a couple Insights on ebay for right around 80 bucks. Granted it's almost twice as much as you were planning on spending but lights that Insight designs are the ones that Blackhawk buys exclusive rights for.
Ex. Blackhawk Gladius = Insight Typhoon

Do you have a source for that last comment? My recollection was that Night Ops developed the Gladius independently and then got bought by Blackhawk.

I did some more research and it looks like we're both sort of right. Night Ops designed the Gladius, but Insight made all of them, whether Blackhawk or Insight branded.
