ESS are good and the thermal goggles are also good. Everyones told me to go ESS Thermals or FlakJaks which have super awesome ventilation. Im getting me a pair of the ESS Tactical SC Thermal goggles. There a bit more compact and "sniper friendly". But youve got a good buy. There goggles usually have x2 thermal coating on there lenses so little to no "fogging" should happen.
So I would say yes its a good buy and the anti-fog should be an superb.

Most of the time, my ESS Land Ops goggles (basically the same, except in Olive Drab and without thermal lenses) doesn't fog up, though tearing off the foam covering the vents probably contributes.

That is a very true statement but i needed them in a week and had no time sit down and spend the multiple hours like you probably spent on this kind of desicision. anyways how would researching them tell me if there gonna fog in certain weather, i did see that the company said there a break threw in anti fog i was just wondering others opinions. So i suggest you dont be a prick to someone you dont know who didnt do anything but ask for some opinoins on goggles. The site you gave was not very useful either becuase i bought straight from ess and they gave me the specs and stuff.

He didn't attack or insult you, and he made a very valid point. You, however, just made a fool of yourself, and a nice reputation that you will have a fun time overcoming. Now, to answer your question. The anti fog is good enough for someone running around and playing airsoft in 80 degree weather, sweating and what not. However, when it gets hotter than that, or you toss in a ghillie hood, you are going to be out of luck, especially with a ghillie hood holding in the heat. If you are serious about anti fog, you will want a fan, and to spend $150 on your goggles.

I did research them thats why it was insulting. but anyways yea i wanted the ess turbo fan becuase they kick ass. osiris and dead prez my teamates both have them. And There awesome they work in freezing cold very well. but i dont have no real job to afford to drop that kinda money. Well I look forward to this weekend I am one of your teamates for the op.

A good way to see if it's got good anti-fog protection is to put them on and go for a jog, I usually jog around 1.5-2 miles distance with the goggles on and when I come to a deadstop and there is no ventilation but my body heat is hot that's prime time to tell if there is good ventilation, I just took an exacto-knife and made small holes in my goggles, around 12 of em. So far no problems with fog and if there is I just pull them away from my face and put them right back and the fog is usually gone.

I presume you cut the goggle frame, rather than the lens right? If you cut the lens, you compromise its structural integrity.
