I have some lubrication for some real pistols. Could I use it in my TM MP5 SD5 or would it act as a solvent to the glue like WD-40 does?

I have never taken it apart. How would I go about cleaning the barrel and such?

spray a small cloth and ram it down the barrel and then bring it back out (do it gently)
and then do it with a clean cloth to clean excess
spray the top of the mag and all in the magwell and you should be fine until you get it serviced

Maybe I'm to late here but turn off the hopup before you shove anything down the barrel.

FYI, regular gun oil loves to eat rubber. you run that down your barrel you can kiss your hopup bucking goodbye.
