I'm in the market for some boots, white Adidas tennis shoes don't quite cut it. I've been looking at the Adidas GSG9 boots, but came up fairly empty when searching for them on here.
Does anyone know the difference between the Classic Tactical boots and the newer ones? The classic are $30 cheaper, but I don't quite like the look of them as much.
Anyone have any other reliable boots that they suggest? I am looking for something in black and waterproof. I'd also prefer if it was below $100, although I have found the Adidas for $129, and may break the budget a bit to get them.

www.uscav.com check out their boot section, anytime you order from them and it's over 100 bucks you just type in cj10 in the promo code for 10% off, it's a permanent law enforcement discount code.(cj5 for under 100 bucks gets you 5%off)

For what it's worth, I've heard the Adidas GSG9's described as "sex for your feet." I have a friend in the Border Patrol who uses them and loves them.

I've had a pair of the new style GSG-9's for over a year now and as Munin says"sex for the feet". They are not gore tex waterproof but do a good job (so far) of keeping my feet dry on the occassional stream crossing and quick dunks in the mud. Where they really shine is in a CQB environment which is what they were designed for. I just plain feel better at the end of the day due their shock absorbment and light weight. I got mine from Botach Tactical for $129.00 and that is cheaper than a lot of good boots that are not as comfortable. I've posted on this subject before and a year later they are still my favorite by a long shot!

I've checked out US Cav, and they don't have the ones I am looking for. Thank you ROGUE1 for the input, I saw the post you mentioned when I searched earlier. I'm planning on ordering from Botach at the moment.

Didn't see the Haix ones, only saw some boots made by Ranger. With a price tag of $230+, way to much for me.

Be advised - Botach is a reputable dealer, but MAKE SURE that they have your item in stock before you order. They're horrible about notifying customers when something is out of stock.
