I'm not sure if there is anybody on FLAG who had a parent pay in full for a gun. I've been working for about 2 years to support my addiction.

Print this post out and read it again in 5 years, and see what an idiot you sound like. May I ask how you ever plan to play in an organized game without your parents knowing? Maybe you'll just play in backyards, or even better, public property...

I concur with Minky, Well, partially atleast. I am only 15, but my parents allow me to play, because I'm mature and responsible enough to handle a hobby such as this. I don't think it's right for someone to be attempting to hide their airsoft stuff from their parents, bad start leads to a bad end. I do believe there is an abundance of people under 18 who do not have the responsibility to handle something like this sport; but, I also believe that there are many out there who can handle the responsibility... Oh well, even if Airsoft gets restricted to adults, I'd just wait 2 1/2 years, and get back into the sport then... I would rather wait to play the game, then never be able to play. Well, I will end my spiel here, sorry if this doesn't have much to do with the M733, just thought I would elaborate a little bit on how I felt about what Minky said... Don't get me wrong, Minky made a perfect point when he quoted that example. - Grunt22

I agree there are plenty of younger players who are responsible, but there are lots of other issues besides how mature/responsible you are. Age is a big thing, since when you're under 18 your parents are responsible for you, and can be held accountable for your actions. Also, there is a big issue of liability for event hosts when players are under 18, since there are plenty of parents who would sue if little Johnny broke his ankle on somebody elses property. Enough ranting though. I realize there are lots of minors who play, and play responsibly. It only takes one bad apple to ruin the whole bunch though, and the bad examples of minors playing stick in my head more than the good ones.

heh it was a joke. My parents know. Only to emphasis the part where they wont pay edit: oh yeah, and they would let me go to an actual event if i asked. and no i dont play in my backyard. i should point out jokes more clearly with some sort of smily, because thats the problem with AIM and online chatting, you lose facial expressions in the process and people dont know what you actually mean
