yeah wtf. I just paid for the commando 733 for a friend, and my glock. Mike from WTS said a lot of their glocks got seized, im going to get fux0red and i know it. (bought from wargameclub). and on top of that, their going to send me a nice fine for trying to import it (well this is of couse the worst thing that could happen). would customs care if they only taped the trademarks?

As long as you have "permanent" trademark coverings and muzzle orange, your guns should go through Customs just fine. There are different levels of "permanent" though.... it just has to stand up to Customs inspection if it gets pulled. Most trademarks can be recovered in one way or another, unless they're dremeled out. So, in other words, yes Customs will care if there is only tape over your trademarks. But they will only care if they inspect it. BTW, what kind of Glock was it? The newer model KSC Glocks don't have any official Glock markings on them, so no worries there. I think the G18C/17/34 still come with the Glock logo though...

I dunno bong, I bought my G36c from WGC around Christmas time last year when lots of guns were getting siezed and I could clearly make out the Hk trademark on the gun but it went through customs just fine.

That means one of two things, Jacko. Either your gun wasn't inspected or the inspector was feeling lax about snagging something that barely violates their policy. Getting your gun siezed depends so much on the inspector that opens it (if it's even opened). Some guy could be having a bad day, maybe he and his wife are having problems. So he's pissed off, sees your gun with a little imprint of HK through the putty and says "Sucks for this guy". Or maybe the guy that opens it just got laid in the store room, so he's not doing his job to well, takes a look inside your package doesn't notice the "HK" imprint and lets it go.
So, with tape, your gun can still make it through customs, probably if it's not checked. If it is, whether the guy is having problems or just banged his seceratary, it'll probably get siezed, tape just isn't a good covering.

Oh c'mon, how many times do people get laid at work?
I mean, I would say, like, once a month, max.
Right?
Right?
;D

All I know is that uncompany uses some sort of easy to remove stuff, that if you spend and hour or two, you can restore the trades. Might not look pretty, but it can be done.

I think the 'putty' that UNC uses is actually liquid electrical tape. You can buy it at most hardware stores and it's real easy to remove.

BB's are what killed your order. shipping is by the pound, and each bag of BB's is 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds)

my trades are Unrecoverable. i have no idea about the orange, but im pretty sure they drilled out the trades on the slide, and burned out the trades on the ABS parts. what an ugly gun it is now but you never know, with their english maybe they were just talking about accidentally drilling a hole through my gun and burning it in a fire. Hrm. When does customs normally inspect that stuff. im tracking the order with TNT, and it says its in Los Angelos (passed through cosignment point) or something. And i cant figure out the times it give me (like 14:40 left hong kong). what time zone is that? or does it keep changing depending on the location its at? edit: oh yeah, its not the new g19 (i think the new glock is the 19 right?). glock 18c. Preupgraded for some metal slide high flow valve strengethened spring full auto rapage.

I bought my own M733 today. I needed to get back to the M16 carbine series and Ann Arbor Airsoft just happened to have "my" gun available.
Tape over the trademarks + orange flashhider with black one included = perfect gun that makes Newman happy.
I wonder how long this thing will last, considering my track record...
