Three things 1.If its that n00bish put it in the Newbie section 2.It isn't that n00bish 3.You can but your probably best off not using the sling holes since they are geared for right handers. Instead you might want to go with a universal sling and tie that to each side of the gun.

thank you much
bah why would they make an ambidextrous firing selector when they don't do anything else to help lefties
last question regarding sling- what's the best universal sling option?

Actually you can probably manage with a regular sling for righties but it just isn't geared for it. The sling mounts can be used ambidextrously but work slightly better with righties.

Im a lefty too, and let me tell you, I'm very distrought that more guns and things arent geared for amby use. I use HK pistols for amby mag release and enjoy the armalite sling swinvels mounted under the gun. we lefties have had to change everything there is about holding and firing procedures to accomodate using the index finger instead of the thumb to operate releases and switches... im just glad we dont have boiling-hot brass ejecting into us when we fire anyway, i had a spring G3A3 and i believe the sling mounts are in the same spots with better quality MP5's (buttstock and left-side forward receiver) sling it righty style and just move the sling under the gun- it will work fine, but has a tendency to flip past the butt to the top side, or have the gun flip over when you arent using it (only minor annoyances) and remember what they say- Left-handed people are the only ones in their right mind

and remember what they say- Left-handed people are the only ones in their right mind Actually left handers have a shorter life expectancy of about five years and are almost 300% more likely to get killed in a freak accident.

really? why is that? lefties tend to be more laid-back and abstract which tends to lend more years onto life. i think freak accidents result from lefties trying to use goddamn righty stuff (this safety wont switch with my left hand... just swap hands and *BLAM* oops ) and about the right brain: hand dominance is resulting from brain hemisphere dominance and since nerves switch sides at the spine, those who are left-handed also tend to use the right side of the brain more (the artistic, free-flowing, care-free, abstract side i think)

The reason for it is that they have to use a lot of right handed things. Such as while driving a stick shift, running around with scicssors in the left hand, or chainsawing. Left handed stuff costs more too. The only real advantage is in baseball where you have a one step advantage over righties.
