i have a VN and they are awesome. Mine is shooting 450fps. It shoots hard, far and accurate with .3g bb's. If you like it then get it. Thats why i got mine and im satisfied. ;D Its a really good gun.

Actually all armalite models have the barrel wobble with exception of the SR16 I believe, but its slight, the M16 variants still remain to be some of the best built TM AEGS out of the box, and there are many fixes for the barrel wobble ranging in cost from 10 bucks to 100 bucks. This wobble only really matters if you plan on sniping with the gun.

Two SR16s that I have held had the whole RIS system wobble...which was worse than other barrel wobbles I have seen. Actually, it is commonly reported that the M16VN is the only version with absolutely no barrel wobble. I don't remember what Trooper's felt like, though.

Ah I stand corrected, although I’m almost 100% sure that Car15s also do not have barrel wobbles, and actually this is coming from a single source and something I picked up a long time ago since Car15s are extremely rare, but I was told they aren’t really even built like the other M16 variants and that they are one of the best AEGs out of the box. I might need to research this some more, a CAR15 in my arsenal sound s a bit tempting.

my vn has slight barrel wobble as of now, but it is easily fixable. All you have to do is strip the barrel assembly down and put some epoxy on the sides of the outer barrel and it will be fine.

Here's the deal:
Any stock TM M16 variant can have barrel wobble.
How 'bout we just leave it at that? ;D

My SR16 has zero barrel wobble as of yet, and the RIS wobble Newman reffered to is the bottom panel, which is not affixed to the barrel assy and can be easily corrected. In the SR16's front assembly, everything but the bottom RIS panel is screwed tightly to the outer barrel -- it is the only thing that can move -- This is why it is said that the SR16 has no barrel wobble, I believe.

Yeah, my SR-16 is rock solid as well, except for the bottom RIS panel, as Ballista said. Snip's is just the same, even though he's got that heavy Harris bipod on there.

That’s what I thought, I knew one of the selling perks of the SR16 was that barrel wobble was fixed, I retract my statement about being corrected.

Indeed, as I reiterate my point of having the SR16 "RIS wobble"...and retract my point of saying any M16 series can have barrel wobble. The next time I see those SR16s, I'll have a look see and find out if I can tighten up their RIS bottom panels.
