Im planning on getting a PDW before the summer but am not sure what the better upgrades would be for it. I will obviously buy a new mechbox (most likely a CA), and will most likely get a little bit longer barrel with a silencer so theres not a skinny brass tube sticking out the front. But I would like to know what other upgrades I should get for it to get peek performance. Thanks!!!

Skip the new box, you won't need it unless you upgrade way past what you really need. The PDW isn't a sniper rifle, so aiming for anything over about 350 FPS is a little absurd. With that in mind, all you'll need is a spring, systema metal bushings, and a large battery and battery bag. For your spring, give this chart a look see for *_ESTIMATED_* velocities based on springs. www.ucalgary.ca/~airsoft/UCAC_New/articles/aegSpringChart.htmlthese are just etimations and will net varying results in different guns. a 150% spring put my gun to about 370, Newman's to about 345, Voss's to about 380, and Celeborns to almost 400 (celeborn had other stuff in his gun to up the velocity marginally as well). That's a wide gap. Aim for a velocity, know that you might not get it. If you want to play with a team that has a tight limit on guns, aim for the safer side rather than borerline. The advantage in range in 20 FPS isn't much, but the damage it can do is. To drive this spring for any kind of extended period of time, you're going to have to get a lage battery, which you are going to have to attach to the stock of your gun. To do this, you have to open up your gun and rewire it. It took Newman and myself a little while to figure out exactly how to do it, but we got it done. there is an excess of wire, so you won't have to worry about being short, but you will need an adaptor from min to large batteries. if you need me to, i can write a summary of rewiring a PDw. Know that you will have to remove the sling swivle to have a hole to run ght wires through.

I Agree, You Really Need A Larger Battery For Any Real Modification To The PDW. After That, Its Really Up To You Depending On What You Want. If You Want A Greater Accuracy Rating, Try Putting A Longer Inner Barrel On The Gun.

I've heard that the Extended Inner Barrel doesn't really do much unless you get the Tightbore. Make suer you shop around.
