While I was at redwolf airsoft I thought I read something that said there is a delay between when you pull the trigger and the bb's coming out with your AEG. Is this true?? thanks Hoo-ah

It depends on what sort of internals you're using. When you increase the FPS, you'll notice your ROF decrease while on full auto and there'll be a small delay when on single fire. A better motor helps remedy this problem.

It's not like a delay of a couple seconds, just the time it takes the motor to drive back the spring. Less than half a second (unless you're using a mostly dead battery to wind a wussy motor to drive heavy gears pulling back a high tension spring). When you're acctually out there playing, you don't notice it. It's the time it takes from one full auto shot to the next. So if a gun is shooting at 11 rounds a second, then it'll take 1/11th of a second if you pull the trigger back all the way.

On the PSG-1 the mech-box starts off so there is no delay but for every other Marui AEG you will get a slight delay but it is nothing that should hinder gun performance or accuracy in any major way.
