i know, i just looked it up, it doesnt seem to be as durable as the EOTech though. i like the fact that the EOs have that little shield around the side of the optics

I have both Bushnells and EOTechs and I think either would be just fine for airsoft.

Good eye, Jump.. That's a price I'd be willing to pay for a replica.

hell yeah, it does twice what the hurricane does. I'm tempted to get one and stick a li-po battery inside of it.

I don't even need the battery capacity (Crane Stock) and I still want one. Just for the price. Wish I could afford a real one, though.

I really can't see jusifying the cost for airsoft, it's like owning a corvette and living in a trailer. They are capable of so much that airsoft just can't give to it. To each his own though, I have no room to talk with a bunch of ARMS stuff put together into an SPR.
I remember when Aimpoint replicas were $150+, now look at them. I wonder what's next? PVS-14s that glow green but really don't have any night capabilities? That would be classic.....

I wonder if li-polys will fit inside RIS systems other than VLTOR CASV's (the MM RIS cut for mini batteries looks pretty hideous,) if not I suppose you have the Laylax Eotech replica...
Replica PVS-14's that have the option of glowing either red or green, but really not that functional for night time use... then the Chinese produce clones of varying brands from the same factory which are three times as fragile for a third of the cost.

Well, I'm going to try out a real EOTech this weekend and see how I like it, and see if I like how it looks on my gun...then I guess I'll know. It really does sound like it would probably just be better to pony up the dough and buy a real one.

i just like how with the real optics, you can just dunk them in water to clean them. i did that with my EOTech when it got all muddy after my gun got knocked down when it was resting beside a tree. i would never submerge a replica optic. my Bushnell ACOG looking thing is the same way, ive cleaned that by just submerging it in a bucket of water and then having it dry, then take a lense pen and cleaning off the lense with it.

yeah, me too. just adds a little more peace of mind EO Techs are sturdy, yeah, but about a month or so ago at one of our WMI CQB games, Gunslingers EO Tech got shot and cracked by a kid with a stock, yes stock aeg. I dont recall if it was CA or TM but the difference in fps is not that much. I think it depends on the angle of impact, but it may of been a lucky shot.

There was a post somewhere back on Arnie's, where a guy was selling protective lens covers (plexiglass or something?) for the Eotech for $27 a pop or something
