I've been thinking about getting a Phantom Ciras and I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these in terms of fit, comfort and build quality. All opinions are welcome. Thanks.

Embed has one, as do I. I like mine. It's built pretty decently, not top notch stuff, but great for airsoft. My only gripe with it, is when I pulled the ripcord the first time, the handle came off the cord, so I have resew it back on. I'm about 6'1ish, and I had to adjust it for it to fit nicely, but it does now. I use blackhawk, and tactical tailor pouches, along with the ones that came with it, and the colors, while you can see the difference, aren't really too bad off.
Overall, if you're looking for a good modular rig, it's right in between the top notch stuff, and the lower quality stuff.

Where did you get yours? And what is the top notch stuff, I guess I thought that Phantom was right up there.

I got mine from Redwolf, and when I say top notch, I mean stuff like the Eagle CIRAS (issued to SOCOM operators, and something like $ 500600 a vest), or Paraclete, HSGI, Battlelab, etc. Edit- Price |

I got mine from an eBay store named "1337 Tactical." They're based in Toronto and they ship quickly. It cost $233 shipped and it's been worth every penny. I highly recommend you to get it, you won't need a new vest for years.

I almost bought the Phantom one, but then I saw Blackhawk released a similar version. I've bought a lot of gear from Blackhawk and I can't wait to try out this vest. I'll post a review once I get it.

I plan on getting one too, except I am gonna pay the extra for the Maritime version so I can get that lil' velcro patch at the top.
Anyone think it wrong to buy a clone vest, and then buy the high-end pouches?
