I special ordered a TM MP5A4, and if any owners of MP5's out there have any maintainence tips, takedown tips, or any info for me about the MP5, I would appreciate it. Also, this is my first AEG, and any universal AEG tips would be welcome, too;).

Here is an important one for MP5s, make sure you always keep the selector switch tight, if it gets to lose it will fall off, which isn’t a good thing if your in the woods.

Don't hit the action a hole lot. It will bust right off, I learned the hard way. Not to worry you have now 3 ways too fix it. 1: leave it be 2: spend $70 for a reinforced action 3: fix it yourself with some good glue(forgot name, i'll edit it latter) and but a wood dowell or "plug" this will not let the grip/tap/thing you grab to "cock" the gun. the plug will ONLY hit the front part NOT the little tab. This is what I have done, pretty cool huh! Your action will not brake! I dont have any pics but if anybuddy is wondering how i did it ask me at a game sometime. currently OP:Fallen Angle.

I'd recommend going through and tightening all your screws after your first skermish. also, some locke-tight on the front sling pivot will keep it from comming off. I lost my first sling pivot and a frined of mine lost his selector lever like Viking said.
Get in the habit of tightening screws!

Cowboy, this thread was started in August and Died in september. The original poster hasn't posted in months. This is the kind of thread to let die and stay dead.
In the future, please don't bring up threads that have not been posted on for a few months without someting very important to say. Some new info or update that wasn't around when the thread went under.
For example, if someone made a thread about a UMP now, and the thread died. In three months, TM makes a UMP. Then you can go ahead and bring up the topic with that update.
