Introduction:
One of my teammates purchased some products from redwolf, and asked me if I wanted anything from there, and not have to worry about shipping cost. So I looked around and found this almost instantly. It just stands out because of the metallic finish on the plastic blade. It was 18$, so I told him to get me that. Several days later he handed it to me, and wow.... was she scary looking, yet beautiful. I just stared at it, amazed at how real it looks. I have personally held the real steel model of this bayonet, and everything other than the weight was perfectly accurate. It feels real, the details they put into it are perfect. If it was actual weight, you would think it was real, and just not sharpened. Of course, it has a small ammount of flex in it that a a real knife of this size does not have.
Build Quality:
As real as it looks, It's only plastic. I do not consider that a downfall or a negative thing in any way. It's an airsoft replica, it's non lethal! If it was metal, I would not have bought it! It has a small ammount of flex in it as i stated before, but that's not a bad thing. You want to have some play in it so that it doesnt just crack if you bump it. It's pretty thick, like the real one is, so I don't think you have to worry about it cracking unless you actually use it as a bayonet.... Which, I wouldn't because it's not a rubber blade and you might severely hurt someone in a game, or if nothing else, pop their camel bak and make them angry.
This knife looks incredibly real. My grandpa is a Korean war vet, and he said if he didn't hold it, he would have said it was real. Not only has he said that, but just about every person that I have shown so far, both in person and in pictures.
Using it on the M16:
Above you can see it mounted on to the bottom of my M15's barrel. It locks on nice and securley, and hardly moves or shakes. You simply slide it on and it lock in place. To remove it, you squeeze two small tabs and it slides right off. It's a very fast process, but I HIGHLY SUGGEST AND ENCOURAGE YOU NEVER TO USE THIS AS A BAYONET IN AN AIROSFT GAME, OR ANYWHERE FOR THAT MATTER. It will still hurt someone! It's great for pictures, and to put on for some cool in-game action shots, You may be able to use it as a "knife" on your local airsoft field, but check the rules first, because it's not rubber!
And, A final look of it on my M15A4 Rifle.
