Hey guys,
I recently wired a motorola headset into my replica helmet, put a speaker in it, and the microphone boom hanging out to my mouth, and I ran the wires right out the back, and down in through my vest. It's quite cool, but the only thing is my PTT button is on the walkietalkie, and It's in my radio pouch. VOX is not a solution either.... It clicks on when I shoot, and breath, and it doesnt click on right when I start talking... It's too delayed. I have adjusted the radio settings, but it didnt help. Is there a way to wire in a PTT button, I want to wear one of those buttons on my vest, something similair to the throat mic PTT buttons. Or... Is there a headset that I could take apart and fit into my helmet that has a PTT button already on it? Thanks in advance. (Yes I have searched, but either I don't know what It's called, or I just can't find one. It's for Motorola Talkabout 2 wayradio's. - Kev
