I bought these pants from Diamondback Tactical on clearence. They sold them for $65 less than normal and with shipping the total package was about $112. For what I got, it's a helluva deal.
The H2P tag reasd that the bibs are 100% waterproof, 100% windproof, slip proof and quiet. That sounds like 4 very good things to me! The pants are certainly warm with a fleece-like outer shell and a liner reminescent of basketball jersey fabric. There are 5 pockets in total consisting of 2 large cargo pockets on the thighs, a rear right pocket and two pockets on the front bib.
The fit of the bib pants is pretty good, even for a tall dude like myself. I bought an XL pair and the top of the bib hits me right at the sternum. The suspenders have a lot of slack and could probably fit anyone up to 7' and they've got two rubber pads on the back so they don't slip out of place. The front zipper reaches all the way down to the groin for easy... er, waste disposal.
What's interesting about these (And completely unadvertised at DBT) is the fact that there's an inner and outer pant leg. The inner leg is coated nylon and seals with a neoprene cuff that's Velcro adjustable. If you were to stuff the inner leg into your boots there would still be enough room for most boots to fit under the outer leg. The outer legs are zippered along the outer seam to assist in tying up boots once the inner leg is secured inside of them. The neoprene cuffs might be a bit thick if you've got tight-fitting boots.
In testing I walked around outside wearing the bib pants with a pair of BDU's underneath. Everything was very warm and my range of motion (Sitting, running, kneeling) wasn't impaired at all. The pants are a bit heavy but the suspenders help and they never budged from where they felt comfortable. I knelt in a few inches of snow to get them damp but I never felt the cold through them (Though I didn't sit for longer than a minute. I figure you'd start to feel chilly sitting in snow after a long while). I bought a black pair but I'll be wearing my German snow camo over them. I may ditch the BDU pants and simply wear my ColdGear Leggings with them as it's concievable that a full combat load and lots of running around may make things too hot.
All in all, I'd say they're a quality peice of gear that can help off the field as well if you're unfortunate enough to have to do anything outside for extended periods of time. Combined with the discount, they're pretty much something I'd recommend to everyone. Get 'em while they're hot.
