Ok, I can't seem to find a pattern in what websites say. Some say that the Red-Green Dot scopes have the ability to see at night, others don't mention it at all.
A little help here...

Some red dots have lower settings intended for use with nightvision scopes. Unless it specifically states some sort of NV capability, I wouldn't bet on it. Am I reading your question right?

All a red-green dot scope is, is either a red dot or scope with a red or green dot. If it had the ability to see at night, it would probably cost you 1000+ dollars for a night vision scope ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I know King Arms makes an aimpoint replica that is a red-green dot, and also, one of my team mates has a scope made by leapers that has an illuminated red and green reticule, very cool.

Swat Force make a red/green Aim-point type optic. The 2 colors allows for easier acquisition of targets at dusk or early night. Is not intended to be PVS/NVG's.

maybe they just mean that the reticle is lighted so you can see it in the dark. i know SWATA4 has one of those swatforce scopes on his MP5, and he seems to like it a lot.

I have the Spec ops. The SwatForce doesnt have both red and green, it's a red dot.. They are both commonly confused. The SWATForce and SpecOps 49$ + shipping, SWAT: ![](http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/images/swatforce_reddot_jpg.jpg) Spec: ![](http://66.219.104.208/images/621a.jpg) There are many variants of both swat and spec force scopes.... but those 2 seem to be the most common.
