Not sure if this is the right place to post, if it isnt sorry :\.
I was wondering if you any of you guys know anything about the Laylax Mode-2 Suppressors. Are they better than the TM Knights Pro Silencer? if so, which is the best?
Thanks
Mark

well, as with all things, "best" is a relative term. what are you planning on doing? for barrel extensions, it doesnt matter. if your looking for a true silencing effect, well, dont get your hopes too high. if you just want it to look cool, pick whichever one you think looks the best.

I'm looking for sound suppression on my m733.
I want to know which Laylax mode-2 will suppress the most, and if it will suppress more than the marui knights pro silencer.

Although silencers may help the small pop of the BB leaving the barrel they won't do much. The main thing that makes noise in an AEG is the motor and such. That whine noise is very hard to conceal. On an AUG people have added silencing foam to the inside of it to dampen the sound made by the gearbox and motor. This I believe cannot be done on you M733.
You are better off picking the one that you think looks cool or if you are looking for a longer barrel, the size appropriate silencer.

Silencers dont do anything in airsoft except make the gun look cool.... the most noise reduction your going to get is by putting foam around the outside of your mechbox. About 90% of the noise from an AEG is from inside the mechbox.

Bullpups like the P90 and AUG can be silenced rather effectively, since most of the gearbox noise is absorbed into your shoulder. Normal AEGs, like the M733, have most of the noise coming from the gearbox near the grip. A silencer will dampen the noise a little on your M733, but not enough to really make a difference.

for the record... gas non-blowbacks silence quite well
