yeah that is garbage that DF and MEU have a total of i think 4 M249's and RF doesnt have any support weapons at all, so i think shanksta should be able to use his RPK drum, i personally have no problem with it, i am good freinds with him. also another guy that we are bringing (donut) has the same drum. but i think hes playing on DF
ammo requierments isnt that great of an idea... rebels in real life have ammo belts slung over their bodys and what not, doesnt seem fair to me.

So then just allow everyone to bring a full 2000 round bottle or something. Some of us dont have a bunch of mags. All I have is a hi cap and a standard and I'll be going through it pretty quickly more than likely.
I think you should just put a limit on how much extra ammo they can bring out onto the field with them.

Learn to be a little lighter on the trigger. Remember, everybody will be allowed to have the same number of rounds on them at once. You can dump your extras into your hicap pretty easily if you can find decent cover. Once you're out of those 680, you're going to have to fall back to your HQ/Drop point to reload with another 680. Everybody will have to do this, not just you.

I found that once I bought some Star mags for my M4 and started playing with them regularly that I got much more choosey in my shots. Probably the best $50 bucks I've spent in airsoft.

Ok, it sounded to me like the ammo you'll have out on the field is whatever is in your mags. My bad.
The funny thing about me running out of ammo fast is that I almost never go full auto.

I don't mind MEU having SAW's, it's their job to be a small band of heavily armed badasses and I would expect no less
DF and RA should have balanced support weapons
680 is a solid limit, though I'm gonna have to get about 5 more standards...

With this new ammo limit, and the no ammo on you can you carry gas for gas gun?

With this new ammo limit, and the no amoo on you can you carry gas for gas gun? While I am still not sure of the details, according to Knief you can carry 680 rounds either in mags or loose. Your total bb count at anyone time is not allowed to go beyond 680 for standered replicas and for the DF/RA.

So, say I have 680 BBs inside the Magazines I carry, then I am not allowed to bring ammo with me? And, for someone who has only a 300rnd Hi-Cap, then they can bring roughly 400 extra bbs on them? Would that be correct in saying?
Also, what's the cut off line for sniper rifles (410+)? Or what?
Also, support weapons are allowed to carry their full Box-Mag's ammo (since, it isn't a standard replica)? Or no? As, I don't want to estimate pouring roughly 700bbs into my box-mags, it would take to much time in my opinion. And their cut off FPS is? (350, 400, what)?

For players using non sniper or support guns on either the DF or RA forces the ammo cap is 680 bbs. If you can carry 680 bbs in magazines great. If not you can make of the difference in loose bbs.
Examples: I have 10 M16 mags, I may NOT carry loose bbs. I have one M16 hicap, I may carry 380 loose bbs.
Support weapons will have an ammo cap of 3000 rounds. Support weapons must look like their real world counter parts. Simply putting a drum mag (or equivalent) on a gun will NOT make it a support weapon. You are welcome to use said drum mag, but you are only allowed to put 680 rounds in it.
If you have a question about whether you gun is a support weapon or not please, please, ask either Damo, El, or myself. If you don't, we can NOT guarantee you can employ the 3000 round support weapon cap at the OP.
FPS rules will be in-line with MiA Regs.

So the armbands are still in play? We don't have to have specific uniforms for your team? Also, will there be a waiver needed? If so is it downloadable online?

The armbands, as of now, are out.
Camo reqs as of now.
RA: Camo pants and t-shirt or sweatshirt. Another option is a camo shirt and jeans.
DA: Full Camo, pattern at your discretion. Preferably US Woodland. NO WL MARPAT!
MEU: Woodland MARPAT.
My apologizes for any confusion. Things are changing daily, and sometimes hourly, with this OP. It can be a challenge to keep two forums up to date on everything that is going on. I will compile things and ask Hado to update the original post with the new information.
