Update - 5/3/06
Troops,
With just 30 days until deployment, battle plans are being drawn up and worked through, units are preparing and training for battle and EXCITEMENT and ANTICIPATION levels are building! … As we move even closer to deployment, we’d like to take this time to review a few items with all players.
1. If you haven’t already done so, ALL teams and/or individuals on the active duty roster must visit their force private forums for roll call and to receive and stay abreast of additional force specific information and/or instructions. As previously noted in this thread, please follow the proper procedures for gaining access to your force private forums.
2. ALL players on the active duty roster should’ve received the Player Registration Kit via email. This kit contains general event rules and information. It is MANDATORY each player review and understands ALL information contained in this document. Remember, NOT KNOWING the rules or NOT FOLLOWING procedure will NOT be an excuse day of event. Note: A copy of the Player Kit can also be downloaded from your force private forum.
3. Be sure to PRINT out and COMPLETE in advance the APPROPRIATE waiver and have it ready to turn in at time of check-in. Waivers can be found in the Player Kit or can be downloaded from the 'INTEL' page.
Players 18 years of age or older… You must complete in advance of arrival the “ADULT” waiver and have it ready to turn in at time of check-in.
Players UNDER the age of 18… If your PARENT (NOT your brother, sister or friend) will not be with you day of event, you’ll need to print out and complete the “MINOR” waiver and have it NOTARIZED by a notary public. Without a properly completed and notarized waiver, players under the age of 18 will NOT be permitted to play and will NOT receive a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.
4. Re: FRIDAY on site camping… If you are camping on site FRIDAY, be sure to review ALL camping rules and regulation as listed in the Player Kit and on the 'INTEL' page. In addition, be sure to schedule your arrival within the gate access times listed. Once the gates close, they close. No admittance beyond the access times will be permitted. ALL other players, as listed in the Player Kit and on the 'INTEL' page, gates open at 0700 hrs day of event. Please plan your arrivals accordingly.
Remember, your cooperation with ALL event rules and regulations are not only requested, they are required. If you have any questions, or need further clarification on any items, you may post questions for the staff on the OPSS2 forums or contact us via safaristrike@airsoftcleveland.com.
