ICE, Just to reaffirm Nextmayor's comment, we strive to improve upon and raise the bar for every event. I can ASSURE you, the sound effects and field wide audio is GREATLY improved this year. I've personally heard some of it already and it's AWESOME! Your exactly on the right "track", an ambient and non-descriptive loop is what will be delivered this year Looking forward to seeing you again. Regards, Erock

For folks that are considering this event, I can tell you this: at last year's event EVERYONE walked away with at least one raffle prize. Team TAC went nuts soliciting sponsorship, and some of the prizes that they gave out were pretty cool (they gave me a grenade. A GRENADE! Muahahahahaaa!). The field is cool, the props were cool, the scenario was cool, the NPC's were cool, and the raffle was over the top. I'm definitely doing this one again this year.

Troops, Just an update on the event. Registration opened at 10:30 PM on January 24, 2006. Since that time there are already over 90 players signed up to attend OPERATION: SAFARI STRIKE! 2. So far we have teams and individuals from IN, IL, KY, MI, PA, VA, NY, AZ and OH! (hope I didn't miss anybody) ... The US / Coalition Force really needs some personnel. We know that there are teams out there that plan on registering for that force, so if possible, please do so quickly. If registration keeps going at this rate, we might have to cap attendance. Register now to ensure your slot at this event. Once again, THANKS to ALL of you for your support www.airsoftcleveland.com/safaristrike.htm In addition, sponsors are coming in daily with GREAT contributions and the raffle is looking to be even BETTER than last year. Troops, We had a question regarding registration fee and on-site camping. To clearify, here is what's listed on the "INTEL" page found @ www.airsoftcleveland.com/event_intel.htm As noted, Friday on-site camping is NOT included in the registration fee. If you choose to camp Friday, you will be required to pay $5 PER PERSON when you arrive at the gate. In addition to gate times, camping rules and regs will also be posted as we move closer to the event. In addition, since last Tuesday, we now currently have over 130 players registered for OPSS2. Be sure to secure your spot today and remember, the first 100 registered paid players receive a FREE SYSTEMA baseball cap! - Courtesy of SYSTEMA. Thanks to ALL of you for your support! Regards, Erock

Troops, The player registration kits have been emailed to ALL players on the active roster. The kit includes everything a player needs, including the complete event day itinerary, rules, regulations, procedures, as well as waivers and other event related information. If another player or teammate registered you, or is receiving your event emails, contact them for your copy. A downloadable version of the player registration kit can also be found in the individual force private forums. While there are still more than 80 days left until deployment, excitement is building and things are already starting to take shape. Rosters have been released and posted to the individual force private forums and the CO’s are actively working on organizing their unit and squad formations. Communication, organization, and teamwork are going to be keys to success at OPSS2. If you haven’t already done so, ALL players on the active roster are encouraged to take the time to register on the OPSS2 forums to stay abreast of the latest information. After registering, please send an email to nextmayor@airsoftcleveland.com with the following information to receive access rights to your respective force private forum. DO NOT SEND A PM FROM THIS FORUM. AirsoftCleveland Forum Screen Name - (whenever possible, use your event callsign) Real Name The Force You Registered For - (Antoga or US) Event Callsign - (the one you used to register for the event with) Email address - (the one you used to register for the event with) Your request MUST contain all of the information listed above. Please allow time for your request to be processed. In addition, force specific mission/objective packs will also be released sometime next week. We’ve still got a LOT of time and a LOT of surprises in store! … STAY TUNED! Lastly, sponsors are continuing to come forward in support of OPSS2. Below are the recent sponsors who have come forward and provided prizes for our end of day SUPER prize raffle. www.airsoftnw.com/www.airsoftadvantage.com/www.blazingtoys.com/www.beezcombatsystems.com/www.iasus-concepts.com/Regards, Erock
