Bolle T800's look like so.SG-1's are nice sunglasses, and durable as hell, but have horrendous fogging problems. Sitting so close to your face, there's really nowhere for all that warmth to go. We (GK) have had some success by using them along with an anti-fogging gel, but I would recommend against them in favor of the T800's since they, with the same gel, can have very few fogging issues.

A good deal is $50 for them, $70 seems to be the average. I bought mine used for $40 and then bought a new lens a few months later for $25 shipped.

Not to revive this thread with information already covered, but I can second Jacko's disgust with the wiley fog issues. I own a set of SG1's and I can't say I can recall a time using them in goggle mode without a fog issue of some sort. The same information was given to me from a close friend who is active in Iraq about their use of them. Apparently most of the sets issued were either used as sunglasses or given away(hence why he has several sets now). So I would say for the money you would be much better served with nearly any other set of goggles.

I'll second Luke on this one, I have Wiley X CQC goggles. I love their shape and tight hug but they fog like it's their job. I had to dremel small holes and slits around the edges to get more ventilation. They also scratch very easily.
The Bolle 800's are a little to bulky for my taste, but their anti-fog is second to none.

im looking into blackhawk hellstorm goggles now or bolle t800 which ive heard their discontinuing Where, exactly, did you hear this? If it's not directly from Bolle', then it's probably BS, as the T-800s are one of their most successful tactical goggles. I'd like to know if they really do plan on discontinuing them, so that I may acquire a second pair before they do. If you don't have a good source, then perhaps you should reconsider posting baseless rumors.

I have a pair of JT full seal paintball goggles that I reacently took out of a paintball mask. Would these work good for airsoft....... Even though it says on the tag this lens is designed for paintball impact of speeds of 300 feet per second or less.

They'll work just fine, they're ANSI rated.

Would they still work if people are shooting at me with guns that are over 300 fps?

Yes, they should still work. Paintballs weigh something like 5 grams, so even a .43g bb moving at 500 FPS won't have the same energy as a paintball travelling at 300 FPS (Though point of impact comes into play, BB's generally aren't hard enough to make a differnece).
