I mostly play in woodland areas. Could you tell me where to purchase the bdu/camo that you think is the best. I do not live near any army navy surplus stores. I would need to purchase the bdu/camo online.

Woodland gets my vote.
For the following reasons:
Fleck isn't as common, harder to find new, doesn't match most gear well.
MARPAT is more expensive for the true stuff (USMC issues and not a knockoff)
Realtree/mossy oak/other hunters camo...bleh.. We're out here hunting people in a milsim environment... not hunting 8 point bucks or turkey.

I vote for Marpat b/c the poll says "best". Sure, it's ass and a half to find some, but it's not only a superior pattern, the BDUs in it usually come with desirable features like outer arm pockets and internal knee pad pockets. You can get it from US Cavalry ( www.uscavalry.com/productinfo.aspx?productid=7324&tabID=&categoryID=22&pos=2), and they may even have it in stock in your size. If not, they'll get it to you eventually. That said, Bigmack my lord and savior-from-chastity is definitely right that woodland works OK, is easy to get, and looks good with any OD or woodland gear you find.

The only reason I don't like US woodland is that.... well, everybody wears it. You could go with a variation of woodland... tigerstripe, or euro DPM. They're relatively easy to find, and just as cheap.

I vote woodland because it is:
A: Most common (therefore inexpensive for jacket and pants combo)
B: Effective

Umm best... A bdu/camo that will keep you consealed from the enemy, not to expensive, and can find it at a retail store or online. Or what you would prefer.

Hint: Savage was trying to tell you there's no such thing as "best".
Pick a pattern you like, buy it, wear it, and enjoy.

ALL Camo is meant to conceal you from the enemy.

It's meant to, but that doesn't mean it will. It also needs to be appropriate for your playing conditions. Don't count on pulling off a face-down-in-the-ferns ambush while wearign tricolor desert.

Flecktarn gets my vote hands down as the superior BDU. The price is unbeatable (I paid $20 shipped for my set) The pattern is superior to woodland, most will disagree, but in my experience Flecktarn blends in much better than woodland Flecktarn is much more comfortable in a wider range of temperatures. I've worn Flecktarn in temps ranging from -20F to 85F without a single problem. Flecktarn is unique, especially if you like to stand out in a crowd because everyone and their dog uses woodland And lastly, Flecktarn is a chick magnet for some mysterious reason (unlike woodland)
