Good timing, right after the holidays when all new airsoft additions are in.

The game was about this time last year, we had a good turnout (about 20 guys). If you want to know what the place will look like, just go to our website and look at last years photos/video. www.geocities.com/lkairsoftLocation: Orion Airsoft Outdoor Field (aka LKA Outdoor Field) Time: Noon meeting @ Wendies (12-Mile and Orchard Lake) It'll be a fun time.

Ed, I'm thinking about attending, but I'd like to make sure that you have written permission from the land owner(s). If you do, count me in. By the way, will this event have any restrictions on fps, bb weight, or anything else?

and also police permission and from the neighbors? I won't be able to go without all of this. My parents are paranoid about airsoft after the little incident at Immediate Response.

I'd like to make a correction: the game will be held on Saturday December 28th. I previously wrote the 27th, sorry for the inconveniance.
Every time we have played at this location we have gotten Police permission. The land is government land and there is no problem for us being there. Just ask the people who were in attendance in prior games. We've had at least 15 members of the forum (including Hado @ Rapid Response) there in the past. Needless to say, the place is kosher.
The velocity restiction is simple, anything with a spring harder than 120% must be on semi within 30 feet. Highly upgraded sniper rifles cannot be used within 30 feet or so. Of course we can work on a case by case basis. We don't like to get bogged down with rules, and since we haven't had one injury EVER, we can afford this luxury. Also, I am not aware of this incident at Immediate Response.
If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to post or e-mail me privately.

Wow! That Immediate Response thread was some shit!I'm just glad I've never illegally played in a construction zone.
Yes, some sort of parental consent will have to be proven in order for you to attend the event. Since you're a minor, you'll prolly get a ride from one of your parents. I'll contact you privately for more information.
I can assure you that we will encounter no problems at this game.

i did get some updates on what happened.... basically we all got yelled at...as the security guard...and the company never faced any trouble at all... the guard still guards the facility... (they patrol it in a white Ford Ranger now) and the company never faced any problems...
